Stress
Some pets – toy dogs, nervous cats and ferrets in particular – vent stress through their intestines. This can take the form of vomiting, refusal to eat, diarrhea or blood in the stool. After this occurs several times, owners usually draw the connection between events that upset the pet and bouts of diarrhea.

Antibiotics And Sulfonamides
Many antibiotics and sulfas kill the normal, helpful bacteria in the pet's intestine as well as the dangerous ones. When the normal bacterial flora of the intestine is destroyed diarrhea may result. This problem can occur with injected antibiotics as well as oral ones. Giving the pet yogurt or bacterial gel pastes, decreasing the antibiotic dose, or changing to a different antibiotic might all help. Do not do this without a veterinarian's permission.

Thank You Deenie, I think his problem is like you say Stress Induced. Me being away for so long, then the incident on Monday and the antibiotics taking its toll on his belly. He had semi normal poop and I have been giving him his diarrhea meds so hopefully it is clearing up. You are so kind to do so much research for me on Josef. You are the bestest!!! THANK YOU again from the bottom of my heart.

Hi cookie, Green Eyes and her husband are traveling to Florida to her husband's mother's house. Other then that not too much happening, everybody seems to be hanging in there. Hope you are doing well

NRCG  Stay inside where it's cool. I saw you are getting your summer heat.

Am packing today. Hubs got the back seat out.  So hopefully no major problems come up we might be able to leave tomorrow. But I am not holding my breath.

Believe me I learned my lesson, went in the yard for five minutes and started to pant like a dog it is so hot  You have a wonderful and safe trip, and relax and enjoy

Get some Popsicles at Walmart... that will be a cool treat ..If they don't melt on the way home ....... I will send you some of my cool air gladly. Its so Crazy ..It was 89 here two days ago.. Michigan Weather at its finest.
