One thing I will give Nancy Grace credit for--she always says that Aruba refused to collect any evidence--not that there wasn't any.  That's a big difference and what she says is accurate.

We don't know what evidence there was in Natalee's disappearance becaue ALE REFUSED to collect it in a timely manner.

But even if it is Joran it doesn't mean anything.  Joran could have just been walking by at the time.

If we are looking for a pix of Lorenzo, I know there are some in the M&C thread, from the raid on his pot "plantation." I am sorry I don't remember the date; I would guess about Summer 2006.

It gives us indication as to the whereabouts and activity prior to his extortion and fleeing Aruba into Columbia. That also gives us indication as to his psychological pattern.

There was no blood on Stephany's pants indicates Joran tried/removed them prior to hitting her and killing her. Therefore, motive may not have been to rob her, but to force her---

So Jan van der Straaten knew that Joran had murdered Natalee and that's why he was going to offer him time in a psychiatric hospital in the NL instead of jail.  THEY ALL KNEW.

Much too late.  Five years and yet another life taken by this monster.

And after all, Uncle Jan had seen the evidence and the reporter had not.  Evidence that Natalee was in fact dead.

So has Jan van der Straaten even surfaced or had any public comment whatsoever since Joran killed Stephany?  I haven't seen anything but I might have missed it, if it was posted.

I don't believe he has been interviewed about this latest murder of Joran's.  He is in Aruba again and was just made the head of the DRUG (something or other).

Joran Van Der Sloot's Psych Report: Does Not Value Females

Joran Van Der Sloot's Psychiatric Evaluation Has Been Released

According to excerpts from the psychiatric evaluation of Joran Van Der Sloot obtained by CNN, he 'does not value the female role' and does not tolerate frustration well. The report states that he "does not tolerate when someone tries to contradict him. It generates in him a challenging attitude."

He is also described as "emotionally immature" and as someone who "reflects a certain dominance over the opposite sex" and who "doesn't value the female role." It also states that "he presents traits of an anti-social personality" and "is indifferent towards others' well-being".

However, the report also says:

Van Der Sloot has refused to speak to the judge about his case as he says his rights were violated when the Peruvian police obtained what they say was his confession. Van Der Sloot says he has no attorney present and has filed a petition for habeas corpus, meaning he wants release from he sees as unlawful detention.

Judge Carlos Morales has until Wednesday to make a decision on the petition, but Van Der Sloot's lawyer Maximo Altez says he will appeal to the highest court if the judge does not rule in his client's favor.

Peruvian police say that they obtained the confession legally and that there was a government-appointed attorney present at the time.

Sorry,,just catching up here..but Joran's excuse is not gonna fly.  He had an interpreter, he had an attorney present..he can not take back what he has said.  Also..the mental illness ..is not there..he maybe bi-polar, he maybe implusive..etc..that is not mental illness.. that is a behavioral disfunctional.  Many people have bi-polar disorder, but they don't kill people.

Peru will find him guilty..

msmarple ... I give you credit that you could break Joran all by yourself if you are not forced to adhere to any interrogation guidelines.

I thought "Gibbs" was your pitbull who never left your side and obeyed your every command.  In other words ... there would be three of your in that locked room within the walls of the Peruvian prison throughout the interrogation.

I am waiting patiently (?) for JVM's transcripts to be posted.  I want to know who the Aruban reporter is that referenced to a drug dealer on Aruba known as "Estacy" as Paulus' son.
