Morning Monkeys, hope your weather is not so horrible as it is here. I hate driving on ice with a dog in the car and idiots hauling azz, then riding my butt. I was a nervous wreck getting here today. My drive goes up and down curvy hills and bridges, none of which were sanded. I almost slid trying to make it up a hill. Popped a half xanax when I got to the Pet lodge because my heart was beating out of my chest. Now I am going to be a zombie for the rest of the day.

JSM glad you made it safely to work this morning. The schools here are closed because of the icy roads. The wind is wild here. Hope every body stays safe and warm.

NRCG  I am sorry your doctor visit went so bad yesterday. It's so hard finding a doctor you can connect with. I have used the Z pack before and had no problems with it. Hope your sinus and ear infection starts getting better.

NoRose I am so sorry about your doctor appointment - first red flag was employees discussing a lawsuit - OMG that is absolutely appalling - I agree with JSM don't ever go back there ever.  I was so hopeful you would have had a good experience and that you would have gotten some answers and relief for your pain.........can't hurt to call your doctor and get in there and pound on some tables demanding some relief - heck what do you have to lose at this point.  You must be feeling terrible with a sinus and ear infection - I hope the meds work and fast.  I wish you were up here I have a wonderful doc who would take good care of you.

JSM I hope your back gets to feeling better and if not you best get that checked out.

It's a three pack of antibiotics, the first one already has helped, now my nose is running constantly, but that is good, get everything out of there. JSM, thanks for the tip on Primatene Mist, that is all I use for asthma, every prescription I have been put on for asthma never worked. And with the throat closing, I had that happen also from a medication, and I had to be taken to the ER, they gave me some kind of a shot. But I always keep Benadryl on hand for swelling of lips and hives.

Believe it or not I am up at this ungodly hour. Mom has an Upper GI at 8!


JSM ....the pills to help flush your kidneys are name AZO, and most of the time work just as well as an antibiotic.

No Rose, so sorry you didn't have a good experience with the new doc.

Just messing around in the house. But with everyone home today should be fun. Just read that ND is at -52 today with wind chill. So I guess our wind chill of -5 is nothing.

NoRose happy to hear the Zpack is kicking in - the young docs can be difficult sometimes.  I worked in a urology clinic for awhile and the one thing I learned was that privately held medical groups tend to give better care because the doctors money is on the line - this came from the docs themselves - not sure if you have any practices near you that are private but you may want to check into that.

Mornin' mission. We are actually a little warmer here than normal, bout 45-50 highs, but we got that cold before it went to the middle and east coast, it was freezin!!!
