I am skeptical that there was a collaboration by the ALE and therefore ... Joran van der Sloot was aware that he was being recorded.  The ALE were approached by Patrick Van der eem and ... declined to become involved.

Think about it ...

He told a story that dictated that Natalee Holloway was dead but ... did not implicate himself in the death.  He told a story that did not implicate Paulus or ... the Kalpoe brother and the sons of the elite (pimps) ... who have the ability of implicating Paulus ... in the happenings encompassing the morning of May 3o, 2005.

It appears that Joran's story may be all about distancing his father from the events of that fateful morning yet ... not implicate himself in the death of Natalee Holloway.

Think about it ...

1.  Joran told his story to somebody that he did not trust?

2.  Joran is not angry with Patrick Van der eem's betrayal?

3.  Joran is not angry with Peter Devries?

It appears a life-long anger issue that has plagued Joran has gone "poof".

He lied a great deal to Patrick about who helped him,how she died and the real events of that night..It was PVDS who said he had to go to school and do normal things..But I still think he was describing a friend and someone else that helped dispose of Natalee by sea..He combined two people and called them Daury..IMO

Joe Tacopina did his best, but his heart was not in it Greta. He even tried the lost in “translation” card. Had his client not admited his words Joe might have had a easier job.

My son in law has always said The police got rid of her body, i did think about that but never paid full attention, until now.

I also did not realize untill these last few days from many diffrent blogs both here and in the netherlands how much the Dutch dislike Joran for bringing all of this upon them.

Yeap, caught that too.  You know what stands out to me the most watching this?  How would any intelligent person not feel like they where being interviewed with the constant drill-down type questioning? 

I for one would have been tipped off about what Patrick was up to.  I would have been wondering who he was working for.  It's creepy.
