That should have been done when TES arrived in Florida, if not sooner...so they would already have it.

I can;t think why they couldn't get a court order for an article belonging to Caylee.  Perhaps it will be done.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- Authorities received a tip late last night that led them back to the Anthony house. A caller reported that there was a weapon on the property.

Orange County Corrections Department Home Confinement personnel requested the Orange County Sheriff's Office accompany them to the home where Casey Anthony is living under home confinement, according to Allen Moore, Public Information Officer for the Orange County Corrections Department.

Investigators took a handgun from the trunk of George Anthony's car, which was parked in the garage. The weapon is now being held in Orange County Sheriff's Office.

The find could have cost Casey a trip back to the jail. Condition 15 of the home confinement agreement Casey signed states, "I will not possess or have in my residence or in my vehicle any deadly weapons. (Examples: firearms, martial arts weapons or explosives.)"

Orange County Corrections contacted the duty judge, Circuit Judge Daniel Dawson. According to Moore, Dawson said that he would take no action until he spoke with the judge who issued the bail order. Dawson spoke with Circuit Judge Stan Strickland early Saturday, who said that because there is no indication that Casey knew the gun was in the trunk, the jusge did not plan to return Casey to jail, Moore said.

Casey remains on home confinement as a condition of her bail. Today, a home confinement official and Casey's attorney Jose Baez visited the hom, according to Fox 35 reporter Holly Bristow. Casey's brother Lee was at home with her for most of the day. George and Cindy Anthony were not at the house this morning.

An argument in front of the Anthony home Friday night boiled over into blows.

Casey Anthony is staying at the home owned by her parents George and Cindy Anthony having been released from jail earlier Friday. Casey’s three year old daughter Caylee has been missing since mid-June and Casey is currently out on bond for the second time awaiting trial on charges of child neglect making false statements and obstructing the investigation.

Media from all over Central Florida and the Nation have been staging in front of the home since Casey was first arrested in July. The Anthony’s have put yellow tape around the property along with No Trespassing signs in an attempt to keep people out.

The curious, along with protesters have been showing up at the home for weeks. Last week a family, including two children, went to the front door and the mother began beating on it and demanding answers. Sheriff’s deputies were called and the family was served with a no trespass warning.

Friday night residents who seem clearly frustrated over the outsiders shouted at people to leave.

At least two young men, one a resident and the other a protester staged a shoving match in the street then exchanged several blows before they were eventually separated. A woman believed to be a resident then charged into the fray shouting that someone had hit her son. Another young man, believed to be the woman’s son, then came back and charged at then began shouting at protesters who stood on the sidewalk.

The woman restrained the young man as units from the Orange County Sheriff’s office showed up and took control of the situation.

Gun Taken From Anthony Home

ORLANDO -- News 13 has learned a gun was taken from the home of the grandparents of missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony early Saturday morning.

The Orlando Sentinel reported Saturday Orange County deputies were seen taking something from the spare tire well in George Anthony's car.

A spokesman with the Orange County Corrections Department told News 13 they received a tip sometime between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. Saturday of a handgun present on the Anthonys' property.

The weapon is being held by the Orange County Sheriff's Office for safe keeping.

Having a gun on the property is a violation of Casey Anthony's bail. Casey was released for the second time from the Orange County Jail Friday. See previous story.

The judge who issued the bail said, however, since it seemed Casey was unaware of the gun, she will not be taken back into custody.

Right....Casey's lived with deputy dog George her whole life and is unaware of him having a gun

I agree Janet,  George was HIDING that gun ... he knows the stipulations for being out on bond, yet he did NOT surrender his gun .....  I would think LE would be looking for ANYTHING to bust these ppl on ..... I have a feeling something might be brewing ...
