I have two questions.

JSM: What does "Josama" mean? Does it have a special meaning that I should know? I googled it and could not find one.

Everyone: I have been wondering what this emoticon means for a long time. Muffy often comes in here and just posts the emoticon. And I have no idea what she is saying or why people use it. What are they saying when they use it?

 

(To me looks like a cowboy saying, "put your dukes up, I am ready to fight." But I probably am way off base.

Brandi, Josama is a combination of Joe and Osama bin Laden. It started out as Josama bin Laden, but was shortened to Joesama. It was a nickname I gave him because he terrorizes dogs. Joe has so many nick names it is pitiful. One girl at daycare has always called him Joelina. His real name given to him when he was born is Joe Daddy. When he was scheduled for surgery the day after the coyote attacks all the people at the vet thought it was a joke. I shortened Joe Daddy to Josef.

Sorry I hit post before I answered about the cowboy. Looks like he is about to fight. It makes me giggle.

Brandi, I have wondered what the cowboy smiley means also, I think your meaning makes a lot of sense, didn't even think of that, but I bet that's it.    JSM get off the computer looking up the medicine that Josef is on. My oldest daughter who is in nursing school is always looking up crap and thinks she has it  I have said to her I'm glad you are becoming a nurse, but if you are going to think you have everything, how are you going to deal with that profession? Sometimes all that does looking up pills and their side effects is drive you crazy and gets you nervous. Every pill has some scary side effects, that is why I stopped looking at that.

No Rose, my sister was told by her doctor to stay off of WebMD. She swore she had beri beri.  Because she had some of the symptoms.

Now I feel bad, JSM I didn't mean to come off so strong, but I know how nervous you are with Josef, because I'm the same way with Zoe. The vet that you trust wouldn't put him on something that he felt was bad for him  If he is acting a little strange, it could be his body adjusting to the medicine.

  You didn't come on too strong No Rose. I am just paranoid about Josef. I have been told that even by the vet. I really think he is just tired out from being in the vets office. We had to sit in the room forever.

OMG, that is like my daughter, she calls me with the craziest things that she thinks she has. I learned the hard way when I was a young teenager not to be looking up stuff in a book, and then later on a computer. I was glancing through my mother's nursing books, and I saw a couple pictures of someone giving birth, I got physically ill, and got so upset I almost passed out  Even when I was pregnant with my first child, my husband had to drag me to those stupid birthing classes. My logic was the baby is going to come out one way or another, I don't need to learn how to breath, or play a martyr, as soon as the word drugs were going to be used by the doctor I was going to take them.

Now I feel bad, JSM I didn't mean to come off so strong, but I know how nervous you are with Josef, because I'm the same way with Zoe. The vet that you trust wouldn't put him on something that he felt was bad for him  If he is acting a little strange, it could be his body adjusting to the medicine.

  You didn't come on too strong No Rose. I am just paranoid about Josef. I have been told that even by the vet. I really think he is just tired out from being in the vets office. We had to sit in the room forever.

I just feel so bad for you, because I know what the worry is like, I have literally almost drove myself insane with worry over Zoe. These new pills have helped me to be able to put things into prospective with Zoe. I know she has a tumor, I also know what the vet has said, even though I have chosen to set it way back into my mind. I just have to know that we have and will do whatever is right by her, and know we can't do anymore when the time comes.

He seems to be fine, I think he is just playing me. He wants to go back outside again. We just got back inside.

I am going to blame Joesf unusual behavior on the moon....since there will be another full moon this month and we have had one full moon already, my guy wears me out going in and out during a full moon.
