Another article about the illegal coffeshop

Joran van der Sloot in Thailand would like to start an illegal coffeeshop.
A former friend of Joran van der Sloot, suspected of the murder of Natalee Holloway, claims that he's somewhere in trying to lice. He would have asked her 34 thousand dollars (about 22 thousand euros), which he had earned with poker, the country to smuggle into Thailand.

With that money would Joran an illegal coffeeshop begin in Thailand. He has now been drugsvriendjes there and has always held. He has sent me a cheque says he and his belt and smst me a hundred times per day or the cheque is already within. But I trust him for not actually cent, "says the listener of Lindo Duvall on the website of Radio 538.

If she has revenge Van der Sloot phone number in Thailand given to Duvall who called him Thursday in his broadcast. Van der Sloot name indeed on the phone, but immediately threw it back on the horn.

In the news and papers it's very quit about this whole case!! When I read or hear something important I will inform you all.

On the 25th of June 2008 there was a new film on SBS 6 about Joran in Thailand http://www.hartvannederland.nl/item/10040/Nieuwe_opnames_Joran_van_der_Sloot_opgedoken.

And in an interview with Patrick van der Eem at the 14th of July 2008 http://www.almerevandaag.nl/nieuws/almere/article3686490.ece/Hoe_zit_het_nou_met_Joran
Patrick says that Joran is still in Thailand.

I think it's true, and you monkeys

Right..I guess we need some more recent photos of him now in Thailand if he's still there.   There's also meen talk about Den Dolder and maybe he can come and go from there?

To come and go from there to Thailand is too expensive!!

I don't think I would be able to go into his establishment, buy or drink the coffee.  I don't think I could eat the food either (or any other consumables).   puker

I guess he finally gets to the big boss somewhere (unless he has some financial obligations).  pukel

Hello Whiskeygirl,

I guess he will not start a coffeeshop where you can nice and easily sitdown for coffee or lunch. But a shop where you you can buy weed, hash and so on. In Holland we call that a coffeshop too.

Welcome MUISJE.

Thanks for that info.  I expected "coffee and ..." but not "anything but coffee".

Will he be a local celebrity?  Would his patrons be Thai?  Non-Thai?

I certainly would be interesting to know who is funding Joran.

Thanks for you welcome Klaasend. I found it at google http://www.radio538.nl/web/show/id=139043/contentid=83383 and when you go to this site you can hear it, only in Dutch of course. I don't know if the story is true!!
Muisje means indeed little mouse and is also the name of my cat. Cheese is a very famous product from Gouda the town where I live in Holland. So I thought a nice picture a little mouse in the whole of the cheese

Welcome, Muisje.  I love Gouda and Edam.  Naturally low in fat and quite good.  I also love cats, big and small.

I'm lurking but have nothing to add to the discussion except that in the picture Blonde posted, I see a face.  First time I've seen something in these pics.  Blonde's go the touch.

A good investigator would have asked Joran that during questionning.  A high school boy with no job goes to bars, buying drinks for tourists, goes to casinos on a regular basis.  Maybe the investigators already knew where he got his money.   Twenty years old, not in school, never had a job.........trolls for tourists for sex in high school, drops out of school, lies about everything.  Makes a Mama Sloot proud; makes the rest of us sick.

yes, LilPuma, sadly from what we've seen of the statements, few relevant questions were asked before he stopped talking and there must be a reason
for that.
It's all so indecent!

It seems that Joran make a lot of money with poker (34.000,00 dollar!) , see the article http://www.dag.nl/1086840/NIEUWS/Artikelpagina-Nieuws/Joran-van-der-Sloot-wil-coffeeshop-beginnen.htm
