This is asinine.  That socialist in the White House continues to ignore the people in this country.  He made a collosal mistake by accepting McChrystal's resignation.  He's a wimp, all right, but a wimp hiding behind the office of the Presidency of this country; just a wimp and he doesn't like hearing the truth.  What has this country come to when Oprah Winfrey can choose the president and Rolling Stone can choose who runs the war in Afghanistan??  Get a grip, voters, and take back this country in November!!

I try to stay out of the forum for politics, but when I saw this I felt like commenting.  Couldn't agree with you more.  My daughter's boyfriend who is a medic will be leaving soon to go to Afghanistan, and to say we are worried sick would be an understatement.

Another Presidential election will be held in two and half years.  Thank-God this isn't Cuba.

He may be the president for two more years, but he's done in November.  Once the Republicans take back Congress and the Senate, he will be a lame duck until another president is elected.  A Republican take-over in November will also replace Pelosi and Reid.

Thank-you. I'm not sure what is all going on, he is a medic, and was doing some kind of training here at Camp Pendelton, and then when this happened with the switching of the generals he came home early. So of course my prayers are that he and the others will not be going as scheduled, but maybe it is wishful thinking.
