Joran's book reveals a mean streak. I especially dislike the parts where he says that he was interested in Ruth early in the evening and hardly noticed Natalee. And the parts where he drags in a few unknown people getting off the bus or something. And the part where he has Natalee supposedly say something that will make the Kalpoes enraged. He's having a good time throwing stuff against the wall to see whom he can hurt and what might stick. I feel like he's laughing while writing some of this.

In the interview with Greta he said he was interested in Katherine.

Guess he can't keep his lies straight.

Janet, do you have the transcript of the conversation Beth had with Anita and Paulus?  The one where Paulus was sweating profusely and had to leave to answer the phone?

AZLady ... I do not believe there is a transcript of that meeting ... IIRC it was an impromptu meeting that took place when Beth was handing out prayer cards but ... I do have some quotes spoken by both Greta and Beth.  I would gladly look them up if you would like.

Immediately after the Casino video was shown on ABC -- I came on here and said:  

"You all may think I'm crazy -- but that guy at the table sure looked a helluva lot like Paulus!"

I really could not actually believe it WAS him -- merely because it WAS so obvious and no one was saying it was him!!!

Yes Tyler.  He didn't not want the cameras in his house.

Well, it's not in that interview.  Does anyone else remember an interviewer asking Anita if she was in Holland when this happened?  She replied that yes, she and the two younger boys were there at a family function or reunion.  I remember this, but can't recall more detail.

Yes, I think that was in the Greta interview where nothing was allowed to be taped and when Beth left the house saying she "knew Natalee was at that house."  Then they did state some of the things that were said in the house, but not everything.  I do recall her saying the two younger boys were with her in Holland and then we get these messages that Paulus had to go home because one kid was being dropped off.  We have had that transcript at one time which is completely at odds with these statements.  I distinctly remember them because I had (and I think Anna also) speculated that Anita had left him and took the two boys because it was a strange time of year to take them out of school and for her not to be in her classroom at the close of the school year unless her intent was to not return.  Therein about that same time, she remarks about the school peers calling on her to get Joran to shut his mouth, that he is talking about Natalee and sex, her drowning, etc.

I distinctly recall Anita saying that she and the two younger boys were in Holland for a family reunion when she was talking to Greta at her home.  Remember the interview with Anita and Paulus where Paulus left the room to ostensibly answer the phone and Anita spoke with Greta?  That's the one.

I remember too -- was it from the Garfoyle(sp?) interview w/ Anita that aired on a Saturday? She was in Aruba -- and we commented that she looked preggers.
