Let the FBI handle everything.

Tomorrow I'm going to see my cousin, who's a cop. Will be pumping her for info, if she has any.

I would love to know if the FBI and the cops are working as a team or if it is and US verses Them situation.

there becomes a point in life where you have to free the dove, and in my opinion, 18 is at that time, i have a 13 and 16 year old, and even though this has happen, and we dont have answers, i will NOT bound my kids for a life time.  I will warn then, look over them, but I will not hold their hands!

That is right on, alabama_mom.  I can remember calling my Mom from the navy recruiter's office, saying goodbye, and my dad getting on the phone saying, "I won't sign for you!"

ty, and I honestly, in my heart, feel natalees mom and dad felt the same, and yes, if my kids have the opportunity to go on a trip over seas, they have my permission to do so, things happen, and that is why we are here, to support, natalee!

I just said, I am 18, and I don't need anyone to sign sign for me no more.  I can't imagine how much that must have hurt them, but I have no regrets.  I'd do it again!

Raising my own kids (sons) I always understood that, and tried to meat out discipline and love.  For one day, they might say, "I don't need you!"

i know most of you are tired but, i just dont understand why would this kid go in the jail cell and trust  some random persone about there were abouts that night with nataly (please dont get me wrong i think the security gards are not guilty) its just i dont get why would a persone change his story everytime and then tell some random person in a jail cell about what "realy" happend? these kids to me know somthing for sure and there pretty stupid so hopefully they will be breaking soon, and i believe that the FBI should probably undergo the interogation dont get me wrong i love aruba i am from the island next door and i respect the people from aruba much, its just since this doesnt happen much there, they probably should step asside and have the FBI handel this who knows the deal whos been doing this basically everyday, and still yet have the arubian authoraties with them in the interogation room. Again i am not talking down on the authoroties of aruba they are well capable of much and i trust in there justice system its just this is somthing that never happens there and we need poeple with more expirience to help out. cause from what i heard the FBI is present in the interogation room but just to listen.we need for them not to be casual if this infact is right and be more stronger and scare them so one can at least leak :0) please let me know what you think on this!! my prayers go out to aruba, the parents and nately herself :0)

But the FBI were CALLED to handle forensics (according reports).

The FBI, diplomatic? Really?

Use the FBI, or don't.  I really think if the FBI is there, they are in some minor role.

Why do I say that?  Some kid/child got on MS-NBC today with potential evidence between pinched fingers and walked off with it.  I wanted to punch the TV!  Hopefully, my fist landing on the jaw of the dweeb taking the video.

There is a fine line the FBI has to walk while in Aruba.  While it is true that they have no authority down there, there are also methods that the FBI cannot and will not share with Aruban authorities.  That is just part of the business.  I know this sounds harsh but when you ask for the FBI's assistance on a case, you usually get all of it or none of it.

It also does no good for a prosecution if a foreign law enforcement agency does all the work.

Has anyone else wondered why it took the police so long to get to the nort of Marriott site when Micky J was released at about 12:30 this AM? The TOP radio sta was there last nite and again early this AM per earlier posts and even the ones who found the stuff were there B4 the police.

If the FBI were in charge, they would have been out at the Marriott first thing this morning, knowing Mickey had named that as a possible sight of Natalee being there.

Heavy, guess you're right about the prosecution's case.

About the FBI sharing their info, we don't care much.

But if something goes wrong, we can blame them Wink

Hello all.  This is now a very tense situation.  Can someone tell me what has happened today?

I saw the news about the underwear, condom, duct tape, and rope( or twine?).

So is any of that really tied to Natalee?
