I think they are afraid you will call in the media.  We were given instructions also that if we found something to alert a TES person quietly as to not draw the media to it.

Hanna is coming here for the weekend

We have had about 2 inches of rain since last night after having strong wind all day.  It's just a light rain now.

Bracing for IKE...we will put the hurricane shutters up Sunday.  They say it will hit close to Miami with 125mph winds.  I will for sure feel that one.

I want to head back down to Orlando to search again but have to watch this silly A$$ weather before I can leave.  (although leaving my Husband alone with 3 kids shut in the house due to hurricane doesnt sound like a bad idea)

Brother may be tied to case

ORLANDO, FLA. --   The latest twist in the Casey Anthony case comes from the man who at one point gave her a “get out of jail free” card and may tie her brother, Lee Anthony, into the saga.

Bounty Hunter Leonard Padilla made national headlines when he bonded Anthony out of jail, but although he’s back in California, he’s not keeping himself too far away from the case of the missing 3-year-old toddler, Caylee Anthony.

Padilla said that he believes something didn’t add up about the preliminary DNA test results that came back last week from the trunk of Anthony’s car. Officials found strands of hair that they ruled could have either been Casey’s or Caylee’s.

“The Feds released information that the hair was either the mother’s or the daughter’s; they didn’t distinguish,” Padilla said. “Why would they not know whether it was the daughter or the mother? They didn’t say it was Caylee’s.”

Padilla said that officials ruled it was Caylee’s hair just by a process of elimination because the hair had a death ring around it and they know Casey is alive. The fact that the DNA is identical has something to do with who the father is, Padilla said.

“Would the DNA from a child resulting from a union from Lee and Casey have basically the same characteristics? Making the preliminary DNA check not definitive as to who the hair samples are from,” he said. 

Padilla’s statements come at a time when police have filed more charges against Casey Anthony, who has already been arrested twice. Officials charged Casey Wednesday with two counts of uttering a forged check, two counts of petty theft and two counts of fraudulent use of personal identification.

Wouldn't that indicate either Lee or George was the father of Caylee? I just looked it up in my forensic DNA and that is what they look for in child molestation cases where the father is also the father of his grandchild. Couldn't be anything else.

I am not sure what foundation of truth Padilla used when he implicated Lee in the media as the possible father of Caylee.

I concede ... I have difficulty in regards to the DNA issue.  However ... mbs's post from September 4th in regard to this topic was very interesting.

Caylee Anthony : Ground Zero : Day 1
I arrived at the Texas EquuSearch command post at about 7:30 a.m. today. Tim Miller gave Investigation Discovery exclusive behind the scenes access and has promised to alert us of any important developments.

I have been assigned to a team of 12 searchers and we are now preparing to go into a high priority area with a K9 team.

As an FYI, a source close to the investigation has told me that ABC News 20/20 has offered the Anthony family one million dollars for an exclusive interview. The same source claims that AIM Productions from Nashville has also offered the family one million for book and movie rights.

I will continue to post updates throughout the day and will be on the scene at the Anthony home later tonight to cover a scheduled protest.

Casey seems to take alot of pictures yet not one of Z who she says she has known for how long??? not even one with her and Caylee?? There has got be some law put in place (not neglect, that doesn't cut it) that anyone who leaves a child with someone they have no way of getting in contact with or not even a picture of!!!
No references??? Should be GUILTY until proven innocent when a child is involved!!!! This is RIDICULOUS!!! AND Cindy how to you go to work and not say bye bye to your grandaughter in the bedroom who you say you HEAR?? Who does that?????? I can not take this anymore!!!! Please Please I hope some kind of justice is done here!
