The decompensated hair was inconsistent with KC. It was 9 inches long and not treated.

Casey discussed her hair care in the jail visit video, if memory serves she spoke about dying it & that she hadnt been to a hair salon in quite a bit.
Wasn't that because Cindy told her about the salon owner that media reported on?  The one that said that KC and Caylee had been in her salon.

I don't know about that specifically; but Cindy did ask about having her and Caylee's hair done on those videos, and that was refuted.
IIRC, the salon owner had a photo of Caylee with a mark on her face.  She thought it might have been from Caylee being hit.

So sad, this has to be Caylee's decomp fluids.

The sheriff's office even shipped an unused air filter to Oak Ridge lab so they could test for contamination during shipping!

They should just take the jury to the car instead of opening the can in the courtroom.

Just stating the obvious...pictures of the trunk with a large stain being shown & no reaction from Casey whatsoever.   She is stretching her neck to look.

Collected section from spare tire cover that was not stained for a controlled sample. And took one that was stained.

IP and IQ for id.

IP is a sealed can. IQ is a another sealed can without evidence tape or initials. Stained spare tire cover.

IP is stained spare tire cover. The smaller piece is the control sample...IP?

He also assisted taking samples of hair and dna from GA CA and LA. The standards from parents on 10/7/ From LA 10/8/08. Items IW IX IY IZ JA JB for identification.

(I can't believe anyone in the jury is yawning. This is history!)

Casey Anthony's lawyer, Jose Baez, rejected by Florida Bar on first try
 ::snipping2::
For eight years after he graduated from law school, however, the board that screens prospective attorneys in Florida would not let him practice law. The Florida Supreme Court agreed with the decision, issuing an order in 2000 that cataloged unpaid bills, extravagant spending and other "financial irresponsibility" up to that time. Justices reserved their strongest condemnation for his failure to stay current on support payments for his only child.

His overall behavior, they wrote, showed "a total lack of respect for the rights of others and a total lack of respect for the legal system, which is absolutely inconsistent with the character and fitness qualities required of those seeking to be afforded the highest position of trust and confidence recognized by our system of law."

All of this still applies to this day!

Especially "lack of respect for the legal system" ...  that has always irked me.

AMAZING that the Bar ever passed him, and doesn't seem to have followed him to see him continuing his lack of respect!

How was the buccal swab done? They take two Q tips and swab each side of the mouth, seal them and ship them.

Hair samples are pulled hairs, not shed. Sometimes they use tweezers or just pull the hairs out with fingers. After collection they put them in a petri dish and seal.

The cans just shown have the trunk carpet / smell of death in them. The state wants to open one later for the jury to smell. #caseyanthony

I think they should do it.  For those jurors who don't want to judge others or don't support the dp that may be what it takes to do KC in.
