Love your new Avi. Was wondering how Cyrus' bath went today? I still would have loved to see a picture of him his coat of many colors. 

His bath went fine, as in he doesn't mind them. Unfortunately, the coloring didn't come completely out. So he has sorta faded pastel splotches now.
 

But I think I'm going to do it again with a real pattern in mind and enter him in a Pet Costume contest. I'll post pictures on that for sure!

(why, yes, yes I am a wee bit batty  ) 

Your timing's off, brachiate! Faded pastels work best for when you're going to turn him into an Easter Egg.......

Are you going to retry the carousel pony or something different?

Im going to attempt Carousel Pony. I went to WalMart today and found a halloween costume wig that I can use for a mane. And I found a child's coloring book with some carousel pony outlines that I can use for a visual guide. I really can't paint or finger paint very well, so we'll see how this works out 

Petsmart has a Pet Costume contest every year and the winner is always a wee-cuddly-cutie in a store bought costume. I should at least get credit for originality

How do you plan on attaching the wig?  Please don't tell me with duct tape.

Duct tape? 

I think I can just tie the wig to his collar. It's not quite far enough up his neck to simulate a real horse mane, but it gives the right effect.
