I'm curious as to what other Monkeys think about why Casey suddenly hates her dad so much. 

1.  Is it just because she conjured up this whole accident theory and started to actually believe that her dad did it...
2.  He didn't jump under her bus and do enough to get her out of trouble...

I just remember that she always acted like he was the one she adored and then suddenly she now hates him.  Strange.

If I were a juror, I think I would have to ass-u-me chloroform was used before the tape was applied or Caylee would have removed the tape. Caylee had to be debilitated for the tape to remain where it was placed.

i thought it went way back where he actually had an affair with someone and she hated him for that

Casey and George have been at odds for a very long time.  We saw her in the jailhouse video ask to speak with him, saying their relationship had been broken for some time and was just starting to mend when "all this happened".  She stated that Cindy and Lee ask too many questions. George was coddling her in the jailhouse visits, she probably thought he would be easier to control at that point. (She found out differently once she was released from jail).  Part of me does believe that after so much time of planning her defense, that she does believe her lie.  But I would bet my last dollar she is po'd because he didn't fall on the sword for her.

Guilty of Murder One with DP
1 Man in mid 60's
4 woman in 50's
1 woman early 30's
1 woman late 30's
2 men 40's
1 man 50's
1 14yr old
1 woman 40's

1 man 40's guilty afraid of DP

3 people in 50's, 2 in their 30's, 2 teenage boys, 1 10yr old the discussion didn't come up with me.

Or she truly thought George and/or Lee would fall on the sword to save her life and pretend to have molested her.  I am sure to this flaming narcissist that would not be too much to expect.

UNREAL - I may have to throw that video up on the SM front page before I run off to work. 

Absoflippinlutely, he exhibits a total disrespect for the very ethics he took an oath to as an officer of the court.  His venom for the media who do not favor him or his client has been combative and childish.  This action indicates that he is more concerned with his image & what this trial will do for him rather than his client, not that I feel sorry for her one dang bit, they deserve each other.  The picture should go up with a list of why he needs to be disbarred, IMHO

If this has already been discussed, feel free to shut me down, but I saw yesterday where a reporter on HLN saw Baez get down on one knee after the jury left and talk to Casey very tenderly and when he was done she intimately rub the side of his face.  Makes you go hmmmmmmm

I think both.  Casey is mad because her lies have stopped working on him.

Klaas thank you for the video.   I guess I would have done something equally as silly and inappropriate....It has been so stressful for everyone and maybe just being silly and 'playful', was impulsive.   Maybe he was trying to show another side of himself, who knows. 

I have never liked him or his ways, but I think I can understand that reaction.

Thanks. I had forgotten about the year long period where they didn't get along.  I just love my dad so much and treasure every moment (he's 81) and I cannot imagine treating your parents like this.  I also have an 8 yr old and can't image harming him in any way whatsoever.
