I agree with you both.  Am wondering why Gma even allowed this?  Seems she had been taken care of those kids before, along with other family, an aunt, maybe GGma too.  Even had Ron not been thinking, seems those who had been taking care of the kids would have had concerns.  Maybe they did and we're just not hearing about it.

I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but even I would know not to allow what I said to Cobra to become public. Now that Misty knows all this, well anything could happen. This should have stayed private, and worked it that way. I'm sure Misty is not to happy to learn of the reasons Ron married her.

How do we even know at the time all this was going on if Ronald even said anything to them about how things were going at home with Mistie....I sure wouldnt want my Momma to know that I had to keep going and dragging my girlfriend home from some other man all the time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welp ...I just finished reading back so I am now caught up.

Personally, I am not convinced from the photos made public today that there has been physical abuse. Not saying there hasn't been, just saying I don't think the photos prove there has been physical abuse by anyone on the kids.

But I wanted to look further into the possibility and studied the school attendance records. I gridded off and made a few notes on the pdf from the school, that I thought I'd share with you. Having a medical condition that kept her out of school a lot, I'd think that there would not be so many UN-excused absences. My additions are in green and I did not count any absences from the day she went missing, as the chart does.


I did that to make it a little easier to follow.

Then I looked at November, 2008. The month that Haleigh was injured at school and reportedly visited the Emergency Room on Nov. 6 and 12. She attended 50% of the time that month. Eight days out of 16 days that they had school.

That is a LOT of absences in my book. I made this Calendar to map out that month:



I am just sharing, not making any judgments or conclusions on the issue, myself.

Great calendar... Brandi do you know how many days were unexcused and tardy @ the end of January to the beginning of February before haleigh went missing ....

Maybe LE knew about this, but since they are tight lipped thats why we haven't heard anything.

Cobra doesn't work for LE, so I wouldn't think he would have to follow the same rules. I think its great that the information has been released. Put some pressure on Misty.
