I am with you Mission, I have not seen this happen before. Saved the state a lot of time and money and he will never be able to hurt and kill again.
I wonder how the families feel about his plea deal.

OMG he admitted the murder of both Chelsea and Amber took place while raping them.

I wonder about the families too - they must be overcome with pain yet relieved that he has plead guilty and they won't have to go thru the pain of a long drawn out trial.

I missed the entire confession but that monster has no remorse, he's just saving himself from the DP and/or going into gen pop.

I'm amazed too  and relieved. It will spare the victim's families from horrible months of focusing on the horrible details

Wow.  I'm almost speechless.  I'm happy for the King family and the family of Amber Dubois.

Now they can begin to rebuild their lives without agonizing if this monster could get off or have to sit thru a trial of painful testimony.

im not that surprised, he really had no choice but to plead guilty, all that research Klaas found about Hashers and their "runs" and finding the picture of him at a Thanksgiving dinner, he knew he was caught, maybe his mom had something to do with it, he probably knew he ruined her career.

I believe it to mean we will not learn the details of the investigation and forensics until he has had formal sentencing but I am not for sure on this.

I could have misheard but I thought they said he murdered Chelsea within one hour and Amber within 1 1/2 hours of taking her.
