That visit tape was not really the first time we have heard Casey erupt in "frustration" at her parents.  Remember the first phone call from jail?  She lashed out at everybody for not understanding what she was going through and for the fact that she was in jail and said the call was a total waste of her precious time. 

Things I picked up on right away from that tape were :

  1.  Cindy seemed heartbroken and as others have said, "walking on eggshells" trying to get info from Casey but clueless as to how to handle her daughter.
  2.  Casey often congratulates herself on how "calm" she is being, even after erupting in anger.  In other words, she is saying, "I could be letting everyone have it, but instead, I am keeping the lid on."  Bet her lawyer told her not to show anger if she can help it.
  3.  Casey seems to trust Baez completely.  Cindy and George have mentioned several times that maybe he is not the best attorney, but Casey seems totally committed to staying with him.  They have bonded somehow.
  4.  Casey always expresses concern for herself, even when she tries to say her main concern is Caylee.  She talks about her own issue of being in jail, being out of the loop, being miserable, etc.  It really is all about her, and of course, she is a VICTIM.  She did not hesitate to use that word.
  5.  She clearly hates the media and says she will not give them sh*t.  Boy, that should really help with her image, huh?  LOL
  6.  I think it's funny that she says people who criticize her or suspect her are "ignorant."  Well, we aren't in jail, Casey, and you are.
  7.  Also funny...there was a time, she says, when she might have been able to help find Caylee, but now that she is locked up...no chance.
  8.  Cindy said that she and George did not have the means to get Casey out of jail.  I suppose that means they did not have enough money to make bail and they did not want to put up their homes and cars, etc., to try to raise it.  I think they probably thought if she stewed in jail long enough she would talk.
  9.  I will have to give Baez credit for one thing.  He convinced Casey not to run her motor mouth.  He must have put the fear of God in her to do that, cuz she always loved to talk.  She has said nothing at all to the media, even when she was out of jail.  She has a sense of self-preservation and self-protection that has kicked into gear, and she has not said a word to the media, when many in her position do.  Lawyers always tell their clients not to say a word, but lots of them do, Scott Peterson for example.
 10.  I am convinced more than ever that any tears she sheds are for herself and her predicament, not for Caylee or her parents.


 

Hudsunn, i LOVE your posts. i think you are right on the money! (if this posts disappears, i give up) it is all about KC! as long as everyone is focused on KC NOT CAYLEE, everything is ok. may i ask you what you do? not specifically, but in general. you always catch everything with KC! if you don't want to answer-no big deal. i just hope it's something dealing with people because you can definetly (sp) read them. i hate to say this, but i don not believe Caylee had a chance with this family. i have no doubt she had very little peace & love in this family. she should have been the most important thing in the world but i feel like she was used as a toy! i hope this doesn't offend anyone, but i do know someone who acts ALOT like cindy & like KC said, she & CINDY are ALOT ALIKE!!!! jmo.

Somebody has something to do with Lake County-(FLA) I am sure did you notice how Filfth kind of stammered and got a funny look on her face. I wonder if it has something to do with the nasty pixs?
Mt Dora is also in Lake County. Thats where Sin-dy's mfather is.
She may have wanted filth to talk to D. Casey to tell him where she last saw the baby he was after all looking for her.
Not that I am defending her but Cindy and George are both on egg shells because of how George so eloquently put it-Filth is in control. I think that they think that she has the power of life or death over the baby. Sadly by that time it was too late.
Everyone has mentioned that by the time that interview filth knew LP was getting her out. Casey mentioned that they had an opportunity to get here out but "that's not going to happen now. IIRC wasn't there another person that was going to get her out but that got screwed up or LP was going to do it but there was a snag and he thought he wasn't going to be able to?
I so hate that scum, I've heard stories about womens prisons where they get real inventive about putting objects where they really don't belong to cause pain to the girls they don't like . Yes I think she should get life in gen pop.

Poor Tim!!  Local news 13 just showed him!!  He said getting involved in this case was his biggest mistake!!  It was stated he used up too many resources in this case.

Here is a classic case of - no good deed goes unpunished!! 

The Anthony's used and abused him.  Some other less reputable sights are trashing him!  And all he did why try to bring this poor baby home for a proper burial!!  Sad!!

OKAY.. this is kinda outta left field... but ive been wondering for awhile, and last nite one one of the shows... they showed a pic of casey with a very young caylee..
in the pic, caseys teeth are REALLY different... front teeth crooked and one bigger than the other..

my QUESTION is... where did she get the money for the BOND JOB? now her teeth are straight..
they looked bonded .. or caps... or whatever..
that is VERY VERY VERY expensive... and if they had money problems... (the whole family it appears) WHO PAID for those pearly whites?

Casey may have had braces as a teenager.  Braces can do miraculous things with teeth and the bite, etc.  Had all three of my sons in braces, two at the same time, and yeppers it was freaking expensive.  Just another thing tho that parents of teens can expect.  Kind of goes along with buying senior class ring and all that.

That photo wasn't taken that long ago so her dental work was done fairly recently, IMO

okay... i saw the video..
it appears that cindy and george are afraid that if the UPSET her, they wont find out what happened..
when she threatens to walk out... they look very upset..

i know people who lie... and when they are pinned down, they get REALLY ANGRY...
thats what i saw in casey... she doesnst want to be pinned down..
when she was OUT, she could stomp off.. call them names.. go party.
in HERE she kinda is walkin a fine line... wants them on HER side, but CLEARLY doesnt want them questioning her..

Can't help with NG commentary tonight though. I'll have to wait til later to watch the rerun.

The lies can fill in the blanks of her machinations over some period of time.  What LE/State needs to know is what transpired after Grandma Cindy allegedly went off on her that (probably) fateful night and what happened moment by moment afterward as re. Caylee. (aka. the truth).

But can someone like KC articulate the truth?  Who knows, but my guess is that's more apt to occur  when she is very frustrated and PO that she isn't the center of attn (aka the narcissistic critter she's shown herself to be).

There is a part of the video where CA tells Casey she is worried about Caylee, that at least she knows where Casey is and that she is safe.  Casey goes on to let her mother know that she is really not okay, can't describe how miserable she was on Caylee's BD, etc, etc.  She practically rolls her eyes when she realizes her mother is not going to give her any sympathy.  Then she goes on to tell CA that she KNOWS Caylee is okay, she just feels it, blah blah.  This is so disturbing and clearly shows the lack of concern for her daughter.  She never once says anything about being worried about Caylee in the same way CA is describing.  Compelling video, and I cannot believe it was her attorney that wanted this released????
