I need to get the dog out and kids ready for bed.  Night all.

Good Night, NORTHERN.

LOVIN, I am lovin' your new avi!  It looks like you are really riding that bicycle!!
Thanks Fanny!  And I'm glad to see you back in with your shiny bottom and a bouquet of sunflowers!

Anyone else use Firefox?

By the way, I've got this dumb laptop and I can't stand it.  If I put things where they don't belong or have crazy spelling mistakes (more than normal)  I'm sorry.

I still have Internet Explorer 7, although it looks like YouTube and some of the other sites are trying to force me to change and upgrade, and I don't want to.
I've used IE forever. It kept freezing up on me all the time and I couldn't open certain sites like photobucket. I downloaded Firefox to try it and I really like it.  There's definitely a learning curve.  I'll get it eventually.

I'm sorry to hear JSM has been sick, and I'm sorry I missed her tonight.  Thank you for letting me know, Fanny.  I hope you had a good birthday.  I'm sorry I was late in giving you your birthday wishes Fanny.  I've been running a little behind as of late.  I feel like I'm running to stay in place sometimes, if you know what I mean.

I haven't had any trouble so far with Photobucket. But I see the handwriting on the wall. I am going to have to upgrade in the near future, and I know I don't want IE8.

I do know! I have tried to slow down, but sometimes, even retired, I feel like I am chasing my tail!

I saw your birthday greeting, and I left you and LOVIN a post.  an angelic monkey

Good night Lovinlife.  Thank you Fanny.

And on a sad note:

Mary Travers of Peter, Paul and Mary has died at the age of 72.

Northern Rose--this is my day to tell everyone to call the police.  If I thought someone as trying to get in my door, I'd call the police.  Don't take chances!

We are not right in town so rely on the RCMP.  By the time they got here I could make it into the house and grab my friend Winchester.  If I can shoot phone insulators off poles as a kid I am sure that larger targets would not be an issue.
Now, THAT'S my kinda gal!!! Especially like your friend Winchester, I have a friend like that also. Her name is Annie, as in Annie Oakley. She's real short, I think she used to ride horses.

Oh yeah, they are the Royal Canadian Mounted Police so if they have to ride their horses in, I could see how it might take a while.  I always think of Dudley DoRight when RCMP comes up.  Anyhow, I admire your spirit, not to mention your skill with Mr. Winchester.
Don't ask me how I know this, as I am an American, but as of the late 1970's, the RCMPs stopped wearing those big beaver hats. And no horses (at the border anyway), but still very cute!

Thanks, Fanny. Man, a girl takes a monkey day off to do her homework (which was due tonight) and I missed a lot!
Northern Rose, a crowbar, a dog, and laughing her head off...great stuff!
JSM...Missy, you stay home tomorrow. I will write you a note for your boss.
And you, Miss Mae, did you go to Wallyworld???? what are ya, crazy?

It took me 1 and 1/2 hours to catch up! I am glad to note CC changed his avi, that was a  to see! But then, of course, it was funny!

Oh, and we have a Blue Heeler, too. He's the mister's dog...but when the mister isn't here, he's all about hanging with me. I feel sorry for him when it's just he and I, I know he's missing his boss. He and our cattle dog were great for herding the grandchildren around. He tries to herd me, and it just irks me. I get up, and he's like "Hey, let me lead you to where you're going. I don't know where you're going, but I'll go first, just in case there's a bad guy here. Sorry about the fact that you can't take one step without tripping on me!" He's great. As for chickens, I think if NOrthern Rose really really worked on her dog, after the chicks are done with the brooder, she could train the dog to herd the chickens and not eat them.
