because floridas information source is incorrect...and a lot of ppl believe her....so maybe more sources where you get information are incorrect.

The Misiers are the ones the Kalpoes got the extra car from and it is said in Aruba that they are very mean and perform Columbian neck ties on anyone who gets in their way. They are like the Mafia there.

Well during the NY case against the VDS family a list of character witnesses for them was provided and your name was on the list.

Guess Grande is wanting to know if you would have testified that JVDS was a good guy, if the case had gone to trial.

We understand that some of the "character witnessess" listed on Joe Taco's papers (for Joran) did not know they were listed and in fact were not prepared to testify (speak in front of the judge) on Joran's behalf.  In other words, the list was not accurate.  Grande  was asking if you knew you were listed.  Would you have given a statement before the judge??

He also noticed Natalee's picture on your tickle.  That's upsetting to many because some feel Joran and his friends have disrespected her.

I can understand avoiding a question if someone is a suspect and you are his friend.  As far as I know, Freddy is not a suspect...is he??  Are you good friends with him or his brother??

well me and my friends...the most do sports and are atletic...almost nobody smokes...almost nobody does drugs i think...so since little were just together.

but in aruba you also have (2big) gangs: so then you become friend with the gangmembers no matter what age.

But in statements, months later, they still don't agree on where they went, stopped or what they did.  By then, they would know the gig was up so WHY not tell the truth if nothing bad happened??  Why still lie??  It is puzzling to many of us.  We could buy into initial lies but they have been compounded and the story still does not agree.  Kawish, if you picked up a girl and dropped her off anywhere...something happened, that you knew nothing about.....it was only a hook up and a drop off...hotel, beach, wherever.  Wouldn't you be scared enough by the international attention to spill your guts and tell exactly what happened so the girl could be found or helped??  Really wouldn't you??  I think, one would only keep lying if something bad happened to the girl and they really were scared of the ramifications.  JMO

if joran really left natalee at the beach (it doesnt matter how he got home).
and the fisherman saw natalee alone (maybe the fisherman drank)
and they see a "beautifull young blond american girl" who had drink alcohol.
and maybe the fisherman did something to her.
and if she died with them then one of the fisherman could go to venezuela for example.
but then he gets checked by the coastguard.
but yeh i think they know the coastguard good so they dont get checked really good.
and all the fisherman give the same statement to the police.

Hmmmm..if Joran left Natalee, looking at the stars, like he said....when he didn't come back from the sprint to the car....I don't think Natalee we have sat around the huts...she was 18, in a foreign country...she would have headed back to hotel.  Joran never mentions even seeing the fishermen...where were they??  This is why many of us don't believe he had Natalee at that location...maybe the huts at Arashi...but not there. JMO

Yep, but then we think that would be almost twice as unlikely because that means Nat was 'picked up' at a bar late on her last night on the island, which we don't think is likely and then when left on the beach, she's hit on again by some more guys.

Kinda makes the place look a little unsafe for lady tourists to us.

Joran's description of Natalee, at that time of the night, had her very romatic, sitting, looking at the stars, begging him to stay with her....See it just doesn't make sense...

My hubby didn't believe my 4 kids telling them about all the attention I get when I am out in the vette to the point that it became a household joke.  They forced him to take them all in the Tahoe and follow me down main street to watch.  He was amazed.  I keep telling him I could by 90 years old with rollers in my hair and oatmeal on my face and I would get the same reaction out there.  Guys do see the girl they see the car. LOL  It is quite funny after 25 years of marriage and now a grandma to boot.  But I get younger looking every year.

 I have not posted for awhile because of all the infighting. So I do want you to be aware that your first night here and the annoyance some showed toward you really had nothing to do with you.

What it really involved was alot of us Monkeys have invested 17 months of our time trying to discover what happened to Natalee. At times we become very frustrated and wind up taking it out on others. We all just want justice for Natalee.

Also wanted to tell you a little story. My husband had a female bowling partner for 10 years because I was on call on bowling night. So I finally quit taking Friday night call and now I was once again his bowling partner and his former partner got her hubby to bowl with her.

Now these are all middle age people. One day there was a bank robbery in a small town near ours. Turned out Hubbys ex bowling partner had robbed the bank. All who knew her found it so hard to believe. She just did not appear to be that kind of person. So keep an open mind.

Evening all, just read back a bit, very amusing dialogue and informative at the same time.  I'm wondering to myself why it would matter if the Mike in the belt pic is gay, but then again everyone has their own thought process and I respect that.    

I was wondering if Kawish might be able to give us an 'insiders look' into Arashi Beach where the boys first stopped according to the suspect/witness statements.  Many of us agreed that Natalee may have been suspicious of the boys' intentions after the porno was displayed.  If that were the case wouldn't the stop Deepak made to urinate present the perfect opportunity to run?  If you felt there was an imminent threat, would you stay in the car?  

Natalee sat on the DRIVERS Side... Unless Deepak urinated in the vehicle he would have had to open the DRIVERS side door to exit, once again presenting the perfect opportunity to escape.  

Kawish, given it was Soul Beach Music festival weekend, would it be more or less likely for there to be activity on Arashi Beach, specifically on or near the asphalted area?

Yep sure is.  In any event once they stopped at Arashi do we really think Natalee was willing to go beyond that point, given what had happened with the porno, falling asleep, etc. etc. ?  Chances seem pretty slim to me that she went beyond Arashi willingly, JMO.

Yes and Lorenzo has a basement we were told.  Do the van der Sloots have a basement?  Is their house one level or two?  Is Joran's apt. just a garage converted to a bedroom and bathroom?  Are the houses in Aruba built on poured concrete slabs?

FWIW, My husband's employees wear similar type uniforms and they have to have some type of personal identification in order to be returned to the owner after cleaning. Of course, I have no idea what the cleaning procedures are for VCB.

Well Monkeys even though I think Joran is guilty I also tend to wonder about things.

I wonder about the rumor of a vehicle, I believe white that was seen and a license plate number taken and supposedly it turned out to be a police vehicle. Supposedly this vehicle driver said it was not where it was supposedly seen. I also wonder about the Chicago videos and the painting of rocks early in the case by vehicles that looked like they were owned by the security company but were labeled Police.
