I gave up watching her and when I did I was able to get off my high blood pressure pills.....where did she get the info on the bruises I wonder?  She makes up so much chit!!

She had a body outline marked.  She has a reported on the ground...looked legit.   The also said she was wearing red panties, and the top she was seen in, and she was wearing a sanitary napkin, with blood.   The white shirt that Joran was wearing was thrown over her body, partially covering her torso.

thanks AZ..........

Attorney that has processed cases in Peru, and has been to the prision predicted to be Jorans, said people line up for $50 to cut the throat of prisoners that people want dead.  he said a 15 by 25 foot cell... and i think they said 25 per cell. hole in the floor for bathroom, and a shower once a week.

ooowwwwww eeeeeee ya know that place gotta SINK!!!!

The Goon Fled From Aruba

TURBOTHINK Writes: "It appears to me when the Aruba "officials" got wind that the FBI was going to arrest him they tipped him off and he fled the country. The timing is just too coincidental not for that to have happened. They seem to have stayed one step ahead of the FBI throughout this entire case. Of course the FBI does not have jurisdiction there except as Aruba gives them so the officials have to know before anyone is arrested."

This is very likely.

On May 10 the goon receives a payment and wire of, at least $10,000.  On May 14, he is in Peru.  The intervening time?

One can envision the scads of extradition paperwork required and authority transfers needed in order for a foreign police force, like the FBI, to arrive on sovereign soil, to arrest and apprehend a national in his own country.  Of for Aruba's own vaunted police forces to act on behalf of the United States.  (Har, Har)  72 hours?  Some things happen faster, some slower.

Regardless, within 72 hours of receiving a sizeable cash extortion payment, he was on his way to Peru -- a very long trip, indeed.

He was very likely tipped off, or he knew it was time to hit the road, after his "diabolically clever" extortion plot blew up in his face.

That he proceeded to kill -- again -- was unforeseen for sure, by even him.

In the mind of this madman, the dynamics and interplay of numerous motivations likely converged: the fear of his own extortion failing, his poor play at the tables in the Peruvian casino, his current need for money, his long deviant history, the recent death of his father...the lingering and very real anger and bitterness at the Holloway-Twitty family for ruining his life...

Just a hair trigger waiting to be pulled.  And another girl, alone in the night.  5 years to the day.  Perfect, in the eyes of a psychopath.

In choosing Stephany, little did he know he had just pulled the pin of a hand grenade.

Did anyone hear NG reporter note that there was a small, white, leather purse with words to the effect of "Love, Peace, Flower Power" on it found in the room?

NG did a decent job this evening. Nice "autopsy-like" drawing of body with labeled wounds.

Also, a fairly descriptive account of items found, body poition, etc in relation to the room.

I just hate when her callers phone in questions...That part kills me...These people must have never, ever followed a lick about this case...WTF???

The international lawyer, from her show, definitely did not paint a pretty picture of the prison he will likely spend time in. WOW !!!

thanks Buckshot.....I might watch the rerun later on..

Duane "Dog" Chapman said he knows the personality.  Once he killed like that he would have to do it again.  It becomes his DNA.  To assume that he is innocent is kind of sad.  Give him what he wants which is the televisions cameras.  He thinks Joran will confess.

Two questions:

(1) Wonder when Joran died his hair? Brown in hotel pics, reddish in capture photos.

(2) NG alluded to the fact that US may have rights on Joran through extortion charges?

Joran spent one night at a hotel somewhere in Chile.  He left alot of his stuff at that hotel.  He is claiming he doesn't remember now where that hotel is.  I suspect it was that night he bleached his hair and eyebrows.

Joran van der Sloot has no lawyer
Counsel of the Ministry of Justice reported that Carla Odrķa no longer assume the defense of the Netherlands citizen, accused of murdering the young Stephany Flores. It is unknown identity and nationality of new counsel

Defense reasons. The Dutchman citizen Joran van der Sloot has no public defender to the investigation into the murder of Stephany Flores (21), daughter of businessman Ricardo Flores, occurred last week.

This was stated by Carla Odrķa, representative of the Ministry of Justice and who played public defender of European citizens in recent days.

Speaking to elcomercio.pe, Carla said Odrķa ignore the lawyer's identity and nationality. Reliable sources indicated that it would be Joseph Tacopina, who defended it five years ago by the death of the young American girl Natalee Holloway.

SATURDAY WAS
Odrķa mentioned that he had the opportunity to talk to Joran van der Sloot on Saturday in the cells of the Dirincri and noticed it quiet.

"I spoke with him in the presence of a police officer for security. I had not told me unhappy, "he said Odria. He noted that the dialogue between the two was possible thanks to the presence of an interpreter. "The translation was in the Netherlands" he said.

Counsel avoided mentioning if the Dutchman proclaimed innocence by "professional secrecy". He noted that the interview did not ask him to call other witnesses.

I am not understanding this at all???  Is it saying Tacopenis is going to represent him?????

Could be that Joe Tacopina's law firm has an international lawyer who might represent him.

good thinking San.....that might be it!!

I hope they examined his whole body.  It wouldn't surprise me if he has a bite mark on his pecker, to go with those scratches.

A bit ironic that if he doesn't say he killed her in a sexual attack, he will face killing her for robbery, which carries a life sentence.

INPE dismisses as Lurigancho and San Jorge prison Dutchman Van der Sloot

The head of the National Penitentiary Institute (INPE), Ruben Rodriguez Rabanal, ruled this afternoon that the Dutchman Joran van der Sloot, who is accused of murdering the young Stephany Flores, will be held in the prisons in Lurigancho and San Jorge, as had been speculated.

He said that is the classification board of Lima holding cells that make that decision, based on the assessment that makes the background and the crime he is accused is charged.

Lurigancho explained that it is excluded because it is overcrowded, and there is the commitment of his administration not to send a more internal, while San Jorge also because there are only primary inmates, and van der Sloot is accused of a serious crime like murder.

There are, he said, Castro Castro, Piedras Gordas, but also criminal in Canete or Aucayama Carquin in Huaral, because it can be any criminal department of Lima.

Rabanal referred to the prison once elected, we will take security measures to prevent the Dutchman citizen self harm or be attacked by other inmates.

Workers strike

On the other hand, the holder of INPE Wednesday confirmed that workers in the sector have called for a 24-hour strike.

He said that workers are committed to not leave unattended the shootout, while his administration has taken measures to prevent tampering.

For example, reported that as a day visit Wednesday is female, has previously informed the family that has stepped forward to tomorrow martes.Andina.

Greta and some of her cronies seem to think the FBI should have nabbed Joran right there on the spot when he took the cahs payment that I believe it was Bo Dietl said of $10K.  But I think they wanted to see if he would actually tell more including more about Natalee.  They had no way of knowing he would kill again so soon.

Maybe they weighed the option of getting more information from him against arresting him on the spot.  In any event, even if they had left to come get him the next day, I don't think they wiuld have found Joran because he was already tipped off and either hiding or off the island.

Greta is just out of line.  She is trying to redeem herself because everyone found out she gave money to Joran for the fake phone tapes of Paulus.

A good international lawyer will probably:
(a) Have him remain silent.
(b) Manever offense to lighten possible sentence (Robbery/Murder vs Sexual Attack/Murder)
(c) Negate his fleeing the scene. Fleeing adds negative background to charges
(d) Raise suspicion of a third person (who may represent the Real Killer)
(e) Declare her death an accident, of sorts
(f) Plea bargain whereabouts of NH/details of NH murder, in exchange for leniency.
(g) Muddy the jurisdiction of the case. Strategize his best outcome.
**Can Aruba prosecute his murder first, based on chronology?
**Can US get extradition, based on extortion charges?
**US or Aruba prison(s) would buy him time and safer/better conditions.

Regardless of the above, Joran is in for a long haul. He will not see any sort of freedom in the near future.
He better hope he doesn't end up in Peruvian jail system...

If Aruba was working with FBI, as suggested in latest sting attempt, one thing is as certain as the sun rising tomorrow: JORAN WAS TIPPED OFF.

Of course no one could predict another murder, but I wonder how the FBI feels about their letting him remain free, as opposed to taking him down. I realize that they made a calculated decision. With another life lost, though, someone may be having heartburn for having made that decision..
