Good morning Monkey's,

Robb got the sympathy vote, IMO.  He has Charisma, but he dances like a Bull in a China closet Smile
The judges felt sorry for poor Robbie, and they put him in a place, where he would never be -if his last name was not K-Dash.

Gosh I'm so excited . . . now I'm ready for the Spring season !!!!

If Bruce Jenner is on I'm really not watching

OMG, me either!

Oh, Lord.  What a nauseating thought.
AND, I could just see it being a 2 for 1 with Kris Jenner on there, too.   double vomit.

Oh god she would try and do that.  I hope ABC is smarter than that.

I need to tip -toe, around this comment, I am running out of boxes of Bananas:)

The thought, crossed my mind, if Mommy had a "ringy-a-ding-ding" with one of the judges? Monkey Devil!

May I  repeat, please, the thought crossed my mind, I am not implying she did, but what else could it be? IMO

Who could bop a polished, a Professional dancer out  and be replaced him with a Clod? IMO

IMO - RK vote was bought,  IMO.  IDK, if it with ugly clothes, that bought the vote:)

This is only my hunch that the sneaky family, influenced the vote.

I NEVER heard so much kissy poo, to any one contestant (from the judges) as with RK.

Something stinks here, and I think it is the DWTS Judges.  IMO

Just so you know IMO Rob was a very good dancer at the end.  Mom nor sister could give him or take away from what he learned.

Louis Van Amstel’s ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Dish: J.R. Martinez Delivered and Deserved to Win
November 23, 2011

 ::snipping2::
All three celebs in this final deserved to win for different reasons — Ricki Lake for consistency, J.R. Martinez for spirit and musicality, Rob Kardashian for most improved.

After all three couples danced their favorite dance of the season, it was the judges’ job to give their final scores. Rob came in third, J.R. scored second, and Ricki took first, which was a fair result. Ricki’s Tango was very solid, J.R.’s Jive was very rhythmical, and Rob was great, but not as good as Ricki or J.R. based on dance quality.
 ::snipping2::
J.R. winning “DWTS” Season 13 is in my opinion the right choice because overall he was closest to having the whole package of a champion: talent, heart, his personal story, plus the difficulty level of the choreography Karina taught J.R.

J.R. and Karina’s choreography was more challenging than the other couples’, and J.R. did deliver. He also had a few ups and downs, which showed what he was truly made of. America saw that and voted for J.R.’s devotion.

'DWTS' Winner, J.R. Martinez, Inspires Wounded Veterans, Burn Victims To Proudly Bear Scars

As Iraq War veteran J.R. Martinez hoisted the "Dancing With The Stars" Mirror Ball on Tuesday, countless injured warriors and burn victims walked away with the inspiration to carry on.

"I think J.R. has made an incredibly bold statement to the world, and especially to wounded warriors, that no matter what happens, you can overcome it," military psychologist Tony Franklin told the Leaf Chronicle.

Martinez had every excuse to shy away from the spotlight and just give up hope.

When Martinez's Humvee truck ran over a landmine in Iraq when he was 19, he suffered a coma and intense burns on more than 40 percent of his body. He spent more than two years in the hospital and underwent 33 surgeries, which included painful skin grafts and tissue expansions.

The veteran told the Houston Chronicle that he would cry and yell, "Why are you doing this to me? I don’t even know you!" when the hospital staff scrubbed dead skin off his body.

Despite the agony and his disfigurement, Martinez decided to show burn victims that they can proudly bear their scars.

"He would visit other soldiers, other patients. He wasn't afraid to talk about what happened," Maj. David Admire, an occupational therapist at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital told the Leaf Chronicle. "He wasn’t afraid to show his face, which was huge."

Now that Martinez has taken to primetime television, he's been able to inspire victims beyond the military community.

One such victim, Andrea Gardner, told KMBC that Martinez played a heavy hand in helping her to move on from her accident.

Just a few months after snapping her senior picture, Gardner was involved in a car crash and was trapped inside the burning vehicle for 18 minutes.

" looked in the mirror for the first time and I bawled and cried," Gardner told the news outlet. "I had no ears."

But after meeting Martinez and seeing how far he's come, the Shawnee, Kansas resident said she feels motivated to move forward.

‘Dancing’ champ Martinez gets Pentagon invite
November 26, 2011

WASHINGTON (AP) — Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has invited soldier-turned-actor J.R. Martinez, winner of this season’s Dancing with the Stars competition, to meet him at the Pentagon.

During a 10-minute telephone call Friday, Panetta told the dance champion he demonstrated the strength and resilience of wounded veterans, Pentagon spokesman Capt. John Kirby said.
 ::snipping2::
Martinez, 28, was severely burned over more than 40 percent of his body when the Humvee he was driving for the U.S. Army in Iraq struck a land mine in 2003. After dozens of operations during a nearly three-year recovery, Martinez became a motivational speaker and in 2008 won a role on the now-retired ABC soap opera All My Children.

Details of Panetta’s meeting with Martinez are being worked out.

J.R. Martinez named Rose Parade marshal
November 27, 2011

PASADENA, Calif., Nov. 27 (UPI) -- The Tournament of Roses named J.R. Martinez, the injured Iraq war veteran who won "Dancing with the Stars," as grand marshal of its Jan. 1 parade in Pasadena.

Martinez will ride at the front of the 123rd edition of the parade, which is seen on worldwide television and leads up to the Rose Bowl college football game.

This year's parade has the theme "Just Imagine," which tournament officials said fits Martinez perfectly.

I figure we can continue discussing the stars of season thirteen for a while.  You know, we can review the dances again on the ABC site, and discuss them.  Maybe we would look at them differently now?  And then before we know it, we'll be talking about season 14.  I've already started a thread for Season 14, which can be unlocked when we start getting information about it.

I'm pretty sure I've logged 51 of those views ..... hee.

Muffy, I love that you're ready and set to go with Season 14 looming ahead . . . wish it was closer!

I think we'll all have to try and get together tomorrow night just for the heck of it!

At least I won't have to madly chop celery and onions and pecans.   Recovering from Thanksgiving (which was wonderful) and barreling on to Christmas

Thanks for the postings.  I just love it.

Kris Jenner Headed To 'Dancing With The Stars'?

Now that the latest season of "Dancing with the Stars" has ended, producers are already busy trying to find celebrities to go pointed-toe-to-toe next season. And this time they've got their eye on the mother of all Kardashians -- Kris Jenner.

"They have already had Kim and brother Rob Kardashian on the show and now they are hoping to get mamma Kris to swing her hips," an insider told me. "Love them or hate them, the Kardashians bring a huge amount of media and buzz to anything they do and having Kris join the next show would be a smart and controversial move, which is exactly what this show loves to do."

In the past, "Dancing" hasn't shied away from casting divisive competitors -- Kate Gosselin, Bristol Palin and Chaz Bono, to name a few. Producers have done so with the knowledge that, when it comes to ratings, hate trumps indifference every time.
