probably not going to Dallas..We are flying to Austin on Friday and leaving Monday in December..

JSM - How's your shoulder?  What about the numbness in your hands?

Can, thanks for asking, shoulder is better, still having numbness in my hands, but not as bad as before the injection.

The weather is not too bad.  Nice and sunny.  Had a big frost a couple of night ago.

More than forty degrees colder than the temps in beautiful Miami where I visited recently.

Thanks Can, at least it is nice and sunny. Winter will be here for you before you know it. Hope your trip to Miami was a blast. 

Had a wonderful trip JSM, thank you.  Loved Southbeach.  Saw Versace's home.  Visited the keys and saw the actual boat from The African Queen.  Visited a few casino's as well.

just made a bowl of honey nut cheerios for myself only to find out that the milk was spoiled! I hate that! the date on the jug of milk says, November 4th! what I have noticed is if I buy milk at a gas station that it spoils sooner...gonna stop doing that...

I have found that if you keep your milk in the back of the refrigerator instead of in the front, it lasts longer too.

Although we keep it on the top shelf, the lowest shelf in the back is the coldest part of the refrigerator.

Too bad your breakfast was spoiled.

You could always use the freezer. LOL

Thanks Cookie!  Yes, I enjoyed my day trip to the keys.  Shall be thinking of you next week as you soak up the warmth.
I went to the Gulfstream Casino, Micosukee Resort and Casino, Hardrock Cafe and Casino (my favorite) and Seminole (older and not as nice as the others)

DWTS tonight.  I fell asleep and missed the group dances, Rikki Lake and Hope....darn!

My brother arrived a short time ago.  First time I've seen him since his stroke.  He looked so tired I commented, and now he is resting.  Asked us to wake him if he doesn't appear by 6:00 p.m.  He's never taken a daytime nap before.

I think as we get older and are not working, more of us indulge in a daytime nap

Thanks to all of you for the prayers for my Dad.  He is out of the hospital and at home now.  Long story...I am not sure we know the root of the problem but he is comfortable at home.  I got back to B'ham last night and will return to  relieve my sis on thursday.  He can't stay alone.

His mind is sharp - all of his faculties are  there but his physical presence is waning.


I love coming here to read what all of you have to say!!
