ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Casey Anthony’s defense team is asking for a change of venue for her check fraud trial, which could be scheduled at her next hearing on Friday.

The defense is also asking that each potential juror be questioned individually, out of earshot of the others called for jury duty.

They also do not want the jurors hearing her check fraud case to hear any of the evidence that comes out publicly in her murder case.

    The so called dream team should be renamed the dumb team!! A change of venue for a check fraud case...WTF....

They also do not want the jurors hearing her check fraud case to hear any of the evidence that comes out publicly in her murder case.

What is the reason for jurors to be questioned individually? That isn't the normal process, is it?

The judge is rather aware of the basics of this case.   Hello, what is the point to all this smoke and mirrors & spent time  YO BOZO your client is on surveillance tape in BOTH locations, the person she took he checks from was in PR & did NOT give her permission, your client was using the victim's car to get to these locations   CASEY SIGNED HER NAME!   Guilty, case closed ....move on dam it!

I was hoping they would find meds- Benadryl or the like but the report I just read states no OTC or prescription meds found, and specifically no Xanax .  ugh.

Where are they expecting to find a jury that won't take one look at the videos of her spending Amy's money without finding her guilty?

I would LOVE for Strickland to deny the motion for ADMISSION TO APPEAR PRO HAC VICE...why would they need the devil of death row on a check fraud trial?  She is a DEATH PENALTY DEFENSE ATTORNEY...I'd bet no one has gotten the DP for  check fraud

I can't decide if I am looking forward to court Friday morning or not. 

I am looking forward for SURE!!!   

I am feeling a little frayed around the edges right now. Maybe I will be all better by Friday.

I read this as NOT allowing the jury to see the videos of Casey writing bad checks IF the SE wants to show the tapes and how unconcerned and carefree she was.  I hope I am wrong.

This is the most ridiculous set of motions yet..when the defendant has already paid BOF A the money back..which to any normal person looks like an admission of guilt. 

Also the State has her on  video tape cashing those checks ..I a mean ..they should just plead her guilty on this charge and call it a day.  No matter how many circles and hoops the defense makes the prosecution jump and run through..the video's speak for themselves..as do the cancelled checks.

What a waste of time and money.

Sorry also meant to add the judge will not exclude the video tapes and cashed checks..they are evidence.  Doesn't matter rather Casey's team wants them seen or not..the tapes where she is cashing checks are evidence of her crime.  That will not fly.  Past crimes will not fly either.
