I hope someone can help me on this one...I am SURE I read or heard via some media that the defense is saying the duct tape was NOT around Caylee's mouth/skull.....does anyone else remember this...please don't tell me I dreamed it.

Iam a litle behind Sunny but Conman said in his interview w Larry King that there is not duct tape on the skull - not sure about the defense but knowing them they said it too.

They are like head phones but do not have the wire that goes over your head.  She is probably using them to listen to her radio.

George Anthony continues to stand by his daughter, saying, "Casey would not hurt Caylee. She wouldn't do that." 

Just like she wouldn't steal from her daughter's piggy bank, or sleep with random guys to the point that no one knows who her baby's daddy is, or say "here's your effing gas cans".
Um, right, George.

I hope that every time Rosebuddy puts money in Casey's slop account he thinks about what it would/should have been like to take Caylee out for a special lunch  and then buy her a treat with that money.  How her face would have been filled with happiness and pride being with her JoJo.    Now all you can do is stare at a death certificate and hear the word "remains" and fatten up the one who is sitting in jail for her murder with hot peanuts. 

NR as much as I would hope that as well...but IMO they cremated Caylee and everything from that point on was about them....they say they have made their house a shrine to Caylee is IMO all for show...I'll bet we will see it soon!!

Thanks to all for the video links-especially the refreshers fromCAPP;  I had forgotten how CinCin sabotaged Greta on the 7/21/08 interview.  The following day on the M&J Show she again is testy & rude.  Her behavior really raises questions.

Any of ya'll who were able to watch those again....my hat goes off to you. I can't bear to listen to her...she make my blood boil!!

Even more revealing one year later, if possible.  ( I couldn't finish reviewing the series at one sitting )

RBut authorities say they have evidence that Casey premeditated the crime, conducting incriminating research on a family computer…. The subjects included "neck-breaking," "household weapons," "shovel," and "how to make chloroform."

RODRIGUEZ: No, I didn’t assume. That’s what the state says in their evidence.

While the defense claims that the prosecution’s evidence is not concrete, detectives have said that the fact that Casey did not immediately report Caylee’s disappearance, as well as Casey’s own behavior during the month her daughter was later said to be missing, which included partying at nightclubs, are damning. But Casey’s lawyers and her parents say that things are not as they seem.

RODRIGUEZ: Does it seem odd to you that she would be out dancing when Caylee was missing?

GEORGE: Casey told us she was trying to find where Caylee was at. There’s some kind of a connection there somewhere.

BAEZ: Things are not always as simple as they seem.

Im behind reading today, life outside the box had me otherwise preoccupied knowing tomorrow is the hearing & I have to go out by 3 (man, I hope the hearing is over by then).   I'm thinking the hearing will largely deflate this CBS special the Anthonys & the defense are hoping would sway public opinion.  Ya know, I was thinking about this last night taking a look back at the glaring absurdity that is Casey's defense...the State has an enormous amount of sworn statements & footage for quite an interesting response to "Exhibit E."

Turn on Foxnews, they are showing live footage of a hotair balloon device (of which Ive never seen) flying across Colorado that reportedly had a 6 year old boy in it thru a trap door, they hope he hasnt already fallen out!    Its crazy!

I like Mark Nejame also, and this is not the first time that Mark Klaas went after Tim Miller on NG

Pretty much says it all.

I will say this, I have supported Mark Klass because he was a victim & has tried to turn his grief into a positive for other families that find themselves in the horror he did with his daughter BUT his ever growing pompous attitude & how he snubs his nose at others as if he were superior is offensive (I mean aside from agreeing with him about the Anthonys, but then again not many dont).   This is not the first time he has taken a swipe at Tim, he did it with Lenny and many others.    Mark, this isnt a competition & there isnt a rule book on to what measure one should go within the law to attempt to find a missing child  - this he should know.   Then again, if he thinks he can do a better job, Ill buy him a pair of boots so he can hit the ground running.

Caylee Anthony case gets more TV attention

The heartless murder of Caylee Anthony, with all signs pointing to her mother Casey as the killer, has become an obsession for millions of Americans.

  Nancy Grace has made the Orlando area tot's disappearance and homicide almost her life's work for the past year and a half. It has paid off with ratings that exceed the much celebrated Keith Olbermann on many nights.

  48 Hours Mystery will try to mine some ratings of its own Saturday night with a recap of the case to this point and an interview by Maggie Rodriguez of Casey's team of attornies.

  Rodriguez's first question should be, "Who is paying you?" The Anthonys are a blue collar family, who have no known source of income since Caylee disappeared in June 2008.

  Casey's attornies have asked for a change of venue for her trial, which is expected to take place next summer. Lucky us, Broward is one of the jurisdictions under consideration.
