I don't think Cindy wanted the father of Caylee in the picture for several reasons:

  1.  She wanted to control Casey, and if a father was around, he and Casey would be closer and he would have more control.
  2.  She did not want to share custody of Caylee.  Cindy knew Casey was weak, irresponsible, etc. and probably wondered even at the time of the birth if Casey would be able to handle motherhood.  If a father were around, he might be able to get custody if Casey faltered. 
  3.  I think it is very possible Cindy knows exactly who the father is and disapproves of him to the point that she does not want him to know that he has a child.
  4.  If incest is involved, Cindy might be look he other way.  Look at the way she is able now to discount any thought of Casey being to blame for Caylee's disappearance.  Cindy seems to have the ability to form her own reality and shut out anything she finds too "real" for her tastes.

I don't think Cindy would do anything about a child born out of incest... hell, a child is dead and she has done nothing to help.

Ok, this may be sick, but I could accept if my son and daughter had a child, sort of, I mean I could still look at them, but if it was my husband and daughter, no way, no way.  But if the daughter was very young, then it would be a different story. 

if your husband was your daughter's biological father and he was molesting her at 19 then you would have to know that it started at a much younger age and not blame her, I hope.

Padilla said there was incest involved, so if he knows they know who the father is then I'm sure LP knows who it is but he legally can't say. That's ok. It's either George or Lee or the creepy grandfather (I doubt).

Since George screamed "the person in the trunk is not my granddaughter" he basically made a public Freudian slip and admitted his paternal role of Caylee. I think. Maybe that's why he is so desperate to find his dead "daughter" and was cheating on his wife because he had such a big secret.

I don't know how this will come out in the trial, if it really matters. It's really a personal issue unless they are going to charge George with incest after Casey is tried. Maybe Casey will cut a deal and testify against her father in exchange for her life. Which would fall into Padilla's description of wild turns in this case.

I am still not sure, either. If LP is basing this on the statement he made in the article that's been quoted here multiple times, then his science is incorrect, because mDNA could explain the difficulty in determining if the hair was Casey or Caylee's (with the exception of the dark band, thereby leaving process of elimination.) However, LP might really know something. So, I am leaving this open, but still hanging onto that a family member is not the bio dad.

SUPER SUPER sick if it is great grandpa.  But i dont think Cindy would still speak to him if it were, but then again George and Lee still come around

I guess so, but at age 22, she could tell someone.  It would just take me a long long time to get over it.

Remember ........(part of the Anrhony's family  does not mean george or lee)....Im gonna check in because we need to find out about cousins and things and that I think is the reason we dont see any family aaround the ANthony's.....and would also explain why the father has never come forward or anything ....and they probably hoiped they could always hide this and now they cant ........

I'm sorry, but if this can be scientifically verified as NOT the case, I think LP has a lot of explaining to do.. and frankly, if it's not true, you can bet Cindy Anthony is going to make a HUGE stink out of this.  Perhaps even try to take some legal action.

If it IS true, ... I just don't know what to think.
