OK.  I understand. But I'm tired and don't think I will describe it well under these conditions.

Dan says that he is sure he has the story (he is a journalist fwtw).  Many of our questions will be answered.

He was drained after getting confirmation and needed time to compose himself.

That is pretty much the backdrop

No....I was alone and scared and young.  I didn't know what to do - but after the first time he came into my room - it was late, 10p or so - I trusted my instincts - which were that he would come back.  I didn't feel comfortable leaving because I didn't know where to go!  So I moved this huge wardrobe in front of the door - and sure enough...at 3a;ish, he came back.  

I was 18 then.  I'm 43 now...and I can't believe I didn't call the police from inside my hotel room!  Young....and scared.

No....
The first time he came, it was late - 9 or 10p.  I was scared...and didn't know where to go.  

But I felt he would try again and trusted my instincts.  Moved a huge wardrobe in front of the door...and sure enough, he was back at 3a.

I was 18 and inexperienced.  At 43, I wonder why I didn't just pick up the phone and call the police from the room.  But I don't think there was a phone - if memory serves me. ANd pre-cell phone time too.

I just packed up and left the next day...and considered myself lucky.
