Flossie, I believe the gas can story now after listening to this and also her friends interviews. It seems like a pattern with her. George stressed the point that he did not and was not able to look in the trunk when she gave them back to him. I think he did that for a reason. He wanted the detectives to know what he suspected. He also stressed that as hard as it was to face, he had his fears about what the smell was. He knows.
Publicly, he has defended it his daughter and acted bizarre as well as said some bizarre stuff. I can't explain that. All I can say is, at the time that this interview was done, I don't feel George was trying to hide anything from LE and I don't think he was involved in a cover up at that point.

I definitely agree with you that he knows.  He's known.  

I might be losing my mind here, but did Cindy and George ever at any point say how long during that month Casey was "missing"?  Did they always maintain that they never saw Caylee in that time, but had been seeing Casey?  If so, how often did they claim to see Casey, or on how many occasions?   If George did tell the guy at the tow yard that he had found his daughter, but his granddaughter was missing, that really doesn't make a lot of sense if he had supposedly seen Casey on the 24th.   Maybe I don't have enough caffeine in me, but I don't remember reading anything that addressed this.

Curious - Do we know where the dumpster pictured is?

After very carefully listening to Red when he posted...he said that this dumpster was located at an office park that was remote and very much out of the way from any place Casey would normally go to.  He made it very clear that there would be no reason for her to be back in this area.

For those of you who listened to George's interview, he sure does like to toot his own horn, doesn't he?!!  I had to laugh at that.

He also made comments like, "I'm just being straight and honest with you guys" I'd say AT LEAST 15 times.  He offers WAY too much information on certain things and won't shut up.  

LE handled him SOOOOOOO well.  Fed his ego and kept him a-talkin', but there is a ton of deception in this interview, IMO.  

Again, just way too convenient that he remembers everything Casey and Caylee were wearing the morning of the 16th, but can't remember other more significant things.   Full.Of.Sh!t.

I agree Flossy.  LE totally rocks!  We need to send them a muffin basket.
