I called my hubby as he works for the elec. co as a R & D.  Was a meter reader for many years...knows all of them...is going to try to find out what he can...I pray that this is over....

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A utility worker on Thursday found the remains of a child in Orange County in a wooded area located less than half mile from the home of the Anthonys, whose granddaughter, Caylee, has been missing since mid-June.


The discovery was made at South Chickasaw Trail and Suburban Drive.

The age and gender of the remains is not known.

Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony, 22, remains jailed in her daughter's disappearance.

All I can say is if this is not Caylee, and it is not an "open and shut case," the Anthonys will have more bs for their bs mill. A child murderer on the loose in Orlando.

If it is Caylee (which I am praying it is) I wonder if this discovery was some kind of divine intervention?  Maybe God had enough of the Anthony's lying?

I really really really hope this is Caylee. If not, perhaps some other child will finally get some justice they deserve.

I'm trying to find something on the radio right now.  Will keep you posted if I hear anything.  The article does refer to this as remains.  If the body was in a plastic bag all of this time, I would think it may have slowed down decomposition a bit. Can you imagine picking up a bag and having a skull fall out???

If this should be little Caylee, can the prosecution revert back to making this a death penalty case or are they stuck with a murder one case with life?

From the aeriel view, that seems like a very "open" place for this bag to be found.  Maybe KC had an accomplice in disposing of the body and maybe that person's guilt got to them enough that they got the body and dropped it in a place it would certainly be found.

Wasn't this area searched, I'm sure it must have been. Way to close to the Anthony home.

Looking at the map, it doesn't look like much of a wooded area.
