Here's another inconsistency, but an attempt by Lee to imply that someone else had been in Casey's bag/purse.

He said that it was "organized" and basically explained that he and his sister are pretty much slobs, so there was no way Casey had packed that bag.

Clint House just told us on his Q&A thread that Casey was very neat while at Tony's.   He said that Tony wouldn't have been one to tolerate her leaving her crap all over the place.   I think he just helped prove that it very well could have been Casey who put all of the things in her purse.

Good try, Lee.

I looked at it a bit differently..not saying either of us is right or wrong...just looking at things a bit differently....I think Casey is like a chameleon...she changes herself and her actions depending on the situation.....she evidently knew that Tony was a neat person and consequently she did the same...I'd be willing to be if he was a slop she would have been a slob too....

I once knew a person like that....she was exactly what a guy wanted.....until she either screwed up or met someone who could do more for her.....one guy...she dressed and talked like a preppie, cause he was....another she dressed and talked like a gal who was really HEP (is that word still used?)...she changed herself...her mode of dress, the way she talked etc. to suit the guy in her life at that particular moment....BTW...she didn't have many female friends either....

Help me out here monkeys. I'm changing my thinking. We very well may see a murder/manslaughter charge before November. If I'm reading this right, Casey pretty much HAS to be charged before the neglect trial or they never will be able to charge her.

<snip>
LOOPHOLE COULD ALLOW CASEY TO BEAT SYSTEM

A loophole could allow Caylee Anthony's mother to beat the system. She's still only facing charges of child neglect and giving false statements.

If her attorney asks for a speedy trial, they could be the only charges she ever faces. Florida law prohibits a person from being tried on more serious charges at a later date if the person stands trial for something that's related.

"If you lose a kid and that results in a child's death, that's one and the same case, because those are manslaughter charges," said board-certified trial attorney Richard Hornsby.

If Casey was found guilty of child neglect, she would only serve up to five years in prison versus a maximum of life for murder. Still, detectives have never said that Caylee Anthony is dead or that Casey is under investigation for murder or manslaughter.

In my opinion,Casey will never ever be free again, convicted by the courts or not though I do believe justice will come. She will always be guilty in the eyes of the world and will live her life accordingly. She will be much better off in a prison cell rather than on the streets because the streets will do her in quicker.Unless she is kept in isolation in prison,I doubt she will last very long there either..This ain't Aruba!!!!

Oh, and Casey, the next time you murder a child, you might want to get your story straight first.

A loophole could allow Caylee Anthony's mother to beat the system. She's still only facing charges of child neglect and giving false statements.

If they drop the child neglect, can they charge her with it again, later?  I'm thinking they could charge her now with the financial crimes, go to trial for those and put her in jail.  While she's there, they can work on the murder charges.
If her attorney asks for a speedy trial, they could be the only charges she ever faces. Florida law prohibits a person from being tried on more serious charges at a later date if the person stands trial for something that's related.

But this is only if she "stands trial".  IMO, they are not going to take her to trial for child neglect.  If Baez pushes for speedy trial, they will charge her with whatever is the best they can prove.  Hoping for murder but could settle for something lesser like negligent homicide, something like that?

Why would you think she wouldn't be tried for neglect and the other 2 charges?

With that new loop hole there being stated it would seem, now for sure, that this has been the defense main motivation from the very get go!
Casey is not talking, she does not have to, she is so extremely confident that they will not find Caylee that her and Baez have refused to help in the search or to give any other information in regards to Caylee's actual where-abouts.  Instead they bunker down, keep Casey at his office to insure she does not accidently slip up, and wait it out!
As soon as evidence came up that their could in fact be a body, and that proved Caylee to be dead, first thing done Baez has to stop this from coming forth as it could hurt their original plan of pleading on just Child Neglect, so he puts in a motion to have the investigators STOP processing the DNA evidence. (Idiot)
He can not risk having her in jail, she may talk and ruin this little plan they have put together.
THIS IS ALL IMO

Not to mention they are not having to waste their time in pressuring a non-talking Casey...they have the public pressure cooker right here..all the media and public constantly causing these "Absolutelies" to recant their statements and screwing up their own so called "facts".

"Absolutelies!!!"

Actually we are on the same page, Sunny - which is why I feel that the fact that she had the bag at Tony's, who she was appearing to be neat and tidy for, was part of why I think it discredits Lee's statement.   Had it been picked up by Lee from somewhere else, it might have been a mess.

Does anybody know where I can find the full video of the 7/22 hearing, or at least George's testimony beginning with his approach to the stand?  I have searched and searched, but can only find parts of the hearing and none with George.  TIA

Just found it for you at http://www.myfoxorlando.com/myfox/MyFox/pages/sidebar_video.jsp?contentId=7038761&version=1&locale=EN-US

Thank you so much!  I don't know how I missed it there.  Does anyone else find Casey's facial expressions interesting as George begins to speak?
Yeah, I put that in a post somewhere...when her mom's on the stand testifying she is crying, crying, crying, but when her dad gets on the stands she starts smiling at him.  What's up with that?
