I'm wondering about this as well. For a while I thought that maybe she was in the pool, under the pool cover while G & C were at work.  I'm not sure that that would keep the remains cool enough to produce the grave wax.  I will check with some of my medical friends.

I am reading back so this may have been answered. Slight amounts of grave wax were noticed and also on the paper towels. Body fat causes adocepere (?) Caylee was a baby. Being in plastic bags can also simulate "a moist environment". I can not explain the temp factor except to say the sight I read said cold conditions would be favorable. MOO.... Given that Caylee had baby fat and was put in plastic bags 2 out of 3 of those conditions are met, that may outweigh the temprature condition.

That's just the thing, the car was reeking at the tow yard, in the ant's garage and then much later still at the LE garage. No telling how long she carried that baby around in the trunk of that car.

That is why I have always thought.....body in trunk for a couple of days YES! Body in there for 2 weeks...no way!!

But forensics says decomp in trunk of car was 2.6 days old.
