Gun Taken From Anthony Home

ORLANDO -- News 13 has learned a gun was taken from the home of the grandparents of missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony early Saturday morning.

The Orlando Sentinel reported Saturday Orange County deputies were seen taking something from the spare tire well in George Anthony's car.

A spokesman with the Orange County Corrections Department told News 13 they received a tip sometime between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. Saturday of a handgun present on the Anthonys' property.

The weapon is being held by the Orange County Sheriff's Office for safe keeping.

Authorities received a tip late last night that led them back to the Anthony house. A caller reported that there was a weapon on the property.

Wow, wonder who the tipster would be? 

Why was George and Cindy not arrested?  Why was Casey not returned to jail.  Why was the bail bond not revoked?  What are the consequences if the bail conditions which both Casey and her parents agreed to are not adhered to?

Orange County Corrections contacted the duty judge, Circuit Judge Daniel Dawson. According to Moore, Dawson said that he would take no action until he spoke with the judge who issued the bail order. Dawson spoke with Circuit Judge Stan Strickland early Saturday, who said that because there is no indication that Casey knew the gun was in the trunk, the jusge did not plan to return Casey to jail, Moore said.

During the first bond out of Casey - we the members here knew Geo. had a gun.  Seems unlikely Casey wouldn't know that.
IIRC - On the first bond out the gun was not required to be surrendered because Casey was to have some one from Padilla's team with her at all times.  Anyone else remember this?

I don't trust these nuts providing a scent.  What if they provide something that wasn't Caylee's.  They will do anything to throw this investigation off.

I suspect that many future rulings will be in favor of the Anthonys now that this high profile attorney who is representing Cindy and George has entered the scenario.

George Anthony could have a dozen more weapons hidden around the house that Casey is not aware of.

Hey ... the very fact that George Anthony broke the conditions of the bail bond should imply that he is no longer qualified to secure the $500,000 bond and ... therefore the bond should be revoked.

Whether or not Casey was aware of the gun hidden in her father's vehicle is not the issue.

Having a gun on the property is a violation of Casey Anthony's bail. Casey was released for the second time from the Orange County Jail Friday. See previous story.

The judge who issued the bail said, however, since it seemed Casey was unaware of the gun, she will not be taken back into custody.

Not to be morbid but would Caylee's scent still be on her or her clothing?  Wouldn't the smell of decomp have overcome her innocent smell?  I would think cadavar dogs would be the best bet ..... (unless of course they are still looking for a LIVE Caylee as Cindy has requested) If that is the case, she should indeed provide a scent source!

The only truthful statement I have heard come out of any of the Anthonys mouths is when Cindy called 911 and said my grand daughter is missing and the car smelled like a dead body.  That says it all!

Which brings me back to WHY didn't Cindy get all panicky in the very first 911 call when she already KNEW what that car smelled like?

Those 911 calls always seemed to be rehearsed IMO.

even the last one Karma? That one seemed very raw and emotional to me...I think that one was very authentic.

I'll admit,Lisa,at first I did believe all of the 911 calls,even the last one.Then after I have seen Cindy acting out on tv over and over.....I am now believing that all 3 911 calls were rehearsed...staged.Cindy did sound hurt and upset in some of the 3rd call but it seems like she can turn those emotions off and on at will....very controlled and I don't think normal people with missing children do that.

Reminds me of the so called Mama a few years back,she drove her 2 little boys into the lake and claimed they were kidnapped by a black man.When the Mama and daddy had thier first tv appearance,Mama(Susan?)was begging and crying for help on camera....with her hair fixed up so pretty with a wonderful big bow tied into it.
I thought"What?She's a greiving Mama with missing babies and her hair looked so pretty and perfect.....who in the heck takes the time to fix thier hair so nice for the cameras while your sweetie pies are missing?"
And that's all I thought about every time I saw her......how fake she was.Turns out she killed her own children.Now I'm not so naive to the evil people of this world.I try to be realistic and sometimes I too wish I could just go off and live in a dream world,a fantasy island....then reality sets in and my eyes open up wide again.
I do not,can not have any sympathy or empathy for evil people.
