I am curious... is the food/water needed for the TES organizers?  I would think that the volunteers that are searching came with their own water & food.  I can't imagine that they would expect food and water to be given to them.  If I was showing up to help I would bring my own water and/or snacks and/or a sack lunch.  Not trying to question anything or be negative, but just curious. 

That would make sense.

Feeding 3000 searchers and providing them with water would be a huge undertaking in terms of coordination and manpower.  If searchers took responsibility for their own food and water ... the focus could be directly solely on the search efforts.

I am getting older (not old) and ... in my opinion ... simpler is better.

There was a time when I was horrified when I thought of families going to a restaurant for Christmas dinner.  However ... the older I get and ... the more I thing about it ....

I wonder if any local catering trucks are there?  I know that they probably would not "donate" but still provide food/beverages/snacks for a nominal charge.

I hope they like pepperoni~just sent 5 pizza, I was thinking how hungry Dolce could be with 2 babies on board and all the sudden I needed to order more

If you all live in the Florida area, you might call school groups, Pta's, basbeball, soccer, etc groups and challenge them to raise money for TES.  They are going to need money after this for other searches .......

That's an excellent suggestion, call where people know about this.   There's no local coverage about Caylee where I live so unless people watch the cable shows like NG, no one even knows who I'm talking about.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) --  Divers pulled a suspicious bag from a waterway behind the Blanchard Park YMCA Family Center this morning during a massive search for Caylee Anthony.Hundreds of volunteers with Texas Equusearch completed their check-ins Saturday morning and have begun the search for Caylee Anthony.

Equusearch volunteers alerted crime scene detectives to the find, which was hauled away at around noon.

The search teams have been sent for a break away while investigators comb the scene.

One bus and two caravans left for the search sites at around 9:30 this morning, with another bus full of searchers cued up.

Upwards of 3,000 volunteers were expected to turn out for the massive operation, but a final count would not be complete until later today.
