Mos said he has enough to go to trial and get a conviction NOW.  Those worried about the Dec 31 deadline should not be concerned as Hans is the one who made it and can just ask for extension if he needs one.

Already having enough for a trial doesn't sound as though he is concerned.

Thoughtprint from his interview with Greta was his description of manslaughter.  Used example of hitting on head with ax.  Now I know he would NOT use the exact thing he has but something similar.  He was telling us there was violence of some sort involved and not just the violence of an overdose gone wrong.

MO

.

I can't remember the exact wording, but maybe someone else will - "violence of some sort" reminds me of - Deepak (I think) saying if they find her they will see that sh*t.
Anyone remember exactly how that went?

Was anyone else up late and saw Dr Baden discussing Natalee's disappearance even on the Redeye program?

Bet Tylergal caught that, too.

He said things could be learned even after five years if a body is preserved in a wrapping or body bag.  I know fingerprints can come off tape and plastic even years later but not so sure underwater but anything is possible I guess and if adhesive on print, it would stay as long as the tarp or body bag lasted.

I know I read something this morning, Anna, but now I don't remember if it was your late night posts or someone else's.     Very Happy

Remember Simian?  Yes, the inside ALE, Simian...he knew and had access to some info...maybe they will revisit it again also...

Simian Says: June 23rd, 2005 at 2:56 pm
There is a gap in the stories between father and son.
Simian Says: June 23rd, 2005 at 3:03 pm
The gap is in the timeline. Phone records. Log-on times on PC’s.

Simian Says: June 23rd, 2005 at 3:05 pm
If you were asleep who answered your phone?
Simian Says: June 23rd, 2005 at 3:09 pm
You can’t remember answering a phone call at 2:00 in the morning? When the next day your son was picked up?

Aha!! Chalk one up for the Simian.  We've now heard that the time on the computer in the Kalpoe home was wrong and had to be adjusted.  Part of the old evidence being looked at in a new way.

I don't like to post when I haven't read all the way back and I have to work and lurk so it's not possible to read all the way back with so many posts.

Real dilemma for me.

But if others read back last night after Greta's midnight replay, my theory is this:

Something taken from the home of Satish is tap of Deepak and Satish talking things over in the privacy of their bedroom with the door closed thinking they were alone and could not be heard.

Add to that infiltration by someone getting Joran to say the same thing happened separated ly in Holland.

Then you have them!  That would have to be something a judge would take very seriously.

MO
.

Does anyone remember when MSNBC caught Deepak at Carlos n Charlies with Freddy?  Maybe Freddy was wearing a wire.  Notice how we haven't seen any pictures of Freddy and Joran together.  Freddy lives close to Joran and probably have visited eachother at their homes where they think no one would be listening.

Anna, yes, I saw Redeye and heard that. I was trying to get information from a local pathologist this morning (one who does autopsies) about that.  I was having trouble recalling the temperature of water as it gets to the depth they believe Natalee is, but he was saying something to the effect that the colder the water, the better likelihood of preserving fingertips as the colder water would preserve the integrity of something like tape which can "peel" if allowed to heat up if there were fingerprints on tape but he indicated that other than that, there should be fingerprints and DNA intact, also said there might/might not be soft tissue remaining but bones tell a story about abuse because that will not change in water.

Anna, I like your theory, too.  It makes good sense and Mos comes across as a very methodical and organized man. That type personality covers all bases.

From Greta's blog:

November 27th, 2007 2:46 PM Eastern
update from Aruba
by Greta Van Susteren

We have been pounding the pavement all day. We solved our ‘getting lost’ problem (there are maps of streets but the streets lack street signs.) How did we solve? We hijacked Jossy Mansur’s wife…she is now in our backseat showing us to the places we want to go…and also she can speak so many languages that she is a giant help. We just spent time with Deepak’s lawyer…so expect to hear from him tonight…I asked him about the ‘new incriminating evidence.’ See you at ten pm ON THE RECORD

San, I was going to add to that and  posted before I was finished.  Old minds do not think well.

I recall (that picture that I hated because I felt they were reenacting the last night of Natalee's life) in the pool area with Satish, Freddy and Joran after the sporter was released.  It seems they were all whooping it up , wonder if Freddy was wearing a wire on that occasion.

Oh, I bet Mos has so much information, he is just popping at the seams wanting to get them before a courtroom.  He seems to be a cool, calm and collected customer and his statement about "wrapping it up, whether letting them go or whatever..." was probably the most politically correct thing he could say.  I am sure he cannot say, "We will never let them go, we got 'em."  And if he did say that, I would have questions about his integrity.  Let him gloat once they are all shackled.

Another thing I believe, is that he is allowing Paulus to go free and that Paulus is being followed and watched during this time to see what steps he takes toward silencing people or trying to free his sporter.  I bet the sheer blouse model is also being watched.

San I remember the picture....I guess Freddy could be wearing a wire...but I still think if there was infiltration it came from Holland JMO of course

San,
Freddie would make an excellent infiltrator.  He has already dropped one dime on Joran with saying Joran told him all that on Monday instead of Tuesday.  Monday, Joran should not have known there was any problem yet to be telling Freddie anything.

Joran is in denial that Freddie ratted him out about that and thinks Freddie is his friend.  It would be pretty low to be so bad someone like Freddie would be talking and wearing a wire but Joran would not suspect him and thinks himself well regarded by some who may not feel that way about him at all.

Yes, I heard Dr. Baden say that, too.  You know (and this is difficult to write down in words) if as Mos, using his Psy Ops strategy, is aware of Natalee being hit over the head (Robots think pole, pipe, etc.) and the body were ever found, there might be a crack in the skull or some other marring on the skull to indicate trama.

I think there was more than 1 wire-wearer.  I think they needed several just to prevent someone from saying, "I was just joking with .... whomever," but if you say similar things to several people, then it can only be taken for the gospel.  Figure Freddy in here, someone from the Netherlands, a pretty girl from Aruba....and then get some of those old pimps talking and you got a pretty good circumstantial case.  Some of them are going to talk because they are not comfortable with what this vanderSloot family has put them and their families through just for one strange-looking, lazy-eyed lying waterhead.

That would be so easy to do and would work so well!!!

I would NOT play chess with Hans Mos because I like to win and he would beat me and most anybody else, lol.

Yes, he exudes intelligence.  We have not seen this before from Aruba but just the opposite.

Even Baby Joran has to be concerned facing this formidable prosecutor.  He didn't look happy at all to me but others saw his as being so.  Joran just looked sick in the airport to me.

Mos is eating an artichoke. The punks are just those annoying leaves. He's dreaming about the heart, Paulus.

I know he's in his office warming up the butter. Leaving Paulus alone is evil genius. Paulus has to play fair now, no looking at the cards.

We knew his arrogance would be his undoing. The traps are everywhere. Now he's probably afraid to use the phone, the internet and is likely being followed.

Tough to move isn't it Paulus?

Boo!

Posted by Lazlo at Ru:

Quote from: Lazlo
From Greta last night (transcript by Heli):

Quote
Greta:

In your press release it says 'voluntary manslaughter'. What is voluntary manslaughter?

Mos:

Voluntary manslaughter under aruban law is a situation that you kill a person with intent and the question is if it's premeditated which should be murder, we scratch through the murder suspicion because we don't have any evidence of that there's premeditation on the killing of this girl but if, for example, you take an axe with the intention to hit a person just to make him suffer, to make him have pain but you hit him with that axe on the head with force, then you should take into account that this person could be killed by that action, that's a risk you take and that's what we mean with voluntary manslaughter

Greta:

Meaning that you took an action a reasonable person could assume would cause death

Mos:

Exactly

Greta:

It's not just sort of you back out of a driveway and run over somebody

Mos:

That will be involuntary manslaughter and that's not what we intend for

Greta:

Does your new evidence, there's different types of murder obviously, involuntary and voluntary manslaughter and then there's murder. Does your new evidence suggest manslaughter?

Mos:

Otherwise we wouldn't have put it on the list of suspicions

Somehow I don't believe Mos will not strongly take the feelings of Natalee's family into consideration.
He must have very strong indications for claiming things above. IMO

WITH PAULUS' NAME BEING MENTIONED AS HAVING TAKEN PART IN THIS CRIME, WHETHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, HE PROBABLY HAS PLENTY OF PEOPLE TO CALL AND SEE. I AM CERTAIN THAT HIS EVERY MOVE WILL BE OBSERVED.

UNFORTUNATELY FOR PAULUS, THIS TIME AROUND, HIS INFLUENCE MAY NOT REACH THAT FAR WITH THE NEW INVESTIGATIVE TEAM. THE PERPETRATORS WILL BE LEFT TO FEND FOR THEMSELVES.

WHAT A SHAME.........................
