That sentence was harsh and it seems they wanted Ron to witness it.

I never knew Ron mentioned the gun being missing, the new lock being broken?  And then something about the drugs?

You know this really makes me go to cobra tapes and look back at what they are saying it just seems I don't know rehearsed?  Misty is upset but not in a panic kind of way.  Then when operator calls back he is doing that whining crying thing goes from calm to whiny / crying.  And their is another female voice that I am sure is not Misty?

I never knew Ron mentioned the gun either.   And...another female voice!?

That sentence was harsh and it seems they wanted Ron to witness it.

IMO, since the sentence was the "mandatory minimum"....it wasn't harsh under Florida law...it could have been worse.  I agree with you that they brought in Ron totally for show.

Now...why did they do that?

Seems to me the want to jolt Ron...buy why...unless they're pretty sure he knows something he's not telling them.

Yes, 15 years for 1 count...and an 18 y.o. does seem like a lot of years!

It does seem harsh but the way that whole town (and many others) has such a terrible drug problem it's probably designed to punish sellers at a maximum.  They get a lot of chances when it comes to buying or being in possession, they seem to get busted over and over or it looks that way on the arrest sheets
