No, it was whatever Merryweather was about Joran's age.  I have only heard of John and Herbie and the wife of John, maybe Gladys or something like that.  So it could be herbie's son.

The reason I ask is because Herbie has a younger brother Philip that is closer to Joran's age.  He's the one with the zoo.

I noticed that too. It reminded me of Casey Anthony's evil grimace. And they don't even realize it's just not natural to display the same cheezy stretching of the mouth with every tooth showing every time someone says "smile". FAKE is right!

Have to go out but keep having these random thoughts and speculations with regard to Joran.  The use of his elbow against a small girl seems pretty drastic to me.  I have to wonder if Joran hasn't been taking some kind of martial arts classes especially after being chased in the NL.

I think the sporter has taken up a new sport and one that comes in most convenient with his hobby of beating small females to death.

If nothing else I needed to get into the POKER MIND. I needed to sdee why a 35 year old professional card player who calles himself among the top 100 would be babysitting the likes of a two bit criminal and murderer.
Well, I learned a lot, there are a handful of posters ( not to mention that the poster in question has lots of replies to his posts that we can't see) that all wanted to hang out together to check the nightlife.
One in particular offers a recipe for a coffee/Dr Pepper concoction that he mixes up before tourny's and keeps him up for up to 40 hours! And he learned it " from a guy who was in prison". < this kid is VDS' age and his blog helped me get into the state of mind of some so addicted to a constant " high stakes " life that life when not playing poker depressed him to no end. I felt this was an apt description and sympatico, and this kid also has traveled all over the world on a shoestring looking for the next " game".

the dact that the poster in Q never got back online, and the others who met up apparently are not discussing any more of what happened speaks volumes as to what happens when you take someone at face value.

IMO Joran wanted to go to cusco to look for the next "deal". Lots of young pretty backpackers, who could disappear without being immediately missed, night life, all night drinking at hostels.

ANd speaking of hostels there were a few links on the thread at the beginning of the Lima discussion noting hostels and accomodation, so they were all getting their itineraries together and decided to stay at the host hotel, or if they couldn't afford, a cheaper close room. Of course the TAC would be on that list.

Some or a few of the players may have seen Joran there at the casino because after S leaves the table J walks over to two men and shakes hands with one of them.

I still belive that J offered S an escort out of the AC and to her car, she probably responded in kind by " dropping him off" at his hotel. So, the temporary parking wasn't an issue for her.
whatever happened next is why she entered.

I still think it was to put on or change that sanitary pad, the little purselet thing is not big enough to contain anything more that a pad and a few credit cards. He knew her " big purse" was probably in the car.- or money in the glove box. I don't think she was up all night gambling and intended to stretch the relaiabitiy of the pad for more than a few house ( IMO- as a woman ).

so it would make sense to me that he attacked her right out of the bathroom, blood in the bathroom and hallway. Maybe he started to strangle her from the back to subdue her- the cut on her finger would have been from contact with his watchband...trying to claw his right hand off of her throat. Maybe this is where his scratches were and he ditched the watch ) if it is the $7,000 Ferrari ) maybe to get the evidence of that blood away from him and into the hnads of the unsuspecting cab drivers.

the rest of the attack continued against the bed and frame ( hard surface would have cracked her skull no problem ) and on her back she would not have bled down on her pants or shoes. Just all over the mattress coverlet or sheet.
He could have elbowed her as she was laying on the bed or against the bad on the floor.

We know he repositioned her body to get her pants off after the fact- to do that he had to take off her shoes.


the FBI can read this and find more than me as far as the connection, and if JVDS is that poster in Q,but I am satisfied that Elton Garcia didn't pay a dime for anything. J blew all his money pre tournament and was trying to get money to get out of Lima because he was busted- as they say- and no more party at that gig.

I have no doubt that there will be justice for Stephaney and Natalee. We have seen it unravel right before our eyes. Started with Paulus death! now Joran committs murder number 2!

Ma Huang is legal and obtainable in SA-also called Ephedra and breaks down to an amphetamine in a blood test- you would test positive for drugs even if it isn't classified as a drug- it is an herb and can be bought in tablets. Truck drivers used to buy it and college students use it for alertness.
It is not a stretch that poker players would use it. when combined with alcohol it produces a pleasant feeling like a " high" with no hangover effect afterward.

S drank one drink at the casino- VDs ten shots. It is not inconceivable that this is what he took, offered her, or they both took to stay alert.  she is rubbing her eyes in the casino video and then J says something to her and she pats her pocket. that may have been why - he asked aren't you tired? and she said...nope, got something for that.

Yes he could have drugged her to put her out but I think he didn't. I think she was too smart, and the wrappers could be from what he took to stay awake after he left with her car- as cecilita stated- at that point he needed to get the hell out.

and the marks on his chest probably came from wearing that bullet proof vest.Ex hubby is 30 year veteran wore one all the time...had same marks when he took it off.

 I think he attacked her from behind- is much taller, and her hand was trying to get his massive forearm off of her throat and all she could find to scratch was his long cuffed wrist with the watchband- cutting her hand.
