Yes, a jury would.  But they don't have juries.  Instead, they have corrupt judges that can be bribed, threatened and operate in total secrecy so they can pretend there are mitigating circumstances of which we are not aware to justify their behavior.

They rule in favor of their friend Sloot no matter the facts.  And make sure ALE collects no forensic or "hard" evidence to implicate the lad.

If this was a “B” movie, we would all jump up and leave the theater and demand our money back!

Someone posted a minute ago that even if Joran confessed  he would not be arrested. According to some of the documentation or maybe it was Simian. One witness is not a witness. They have to have some sort of evidence to actually arrest him. Like maybe her clothing or something.Or DNA.

I was trying to think some of it through, but it makes no sense that Joran would want this stuff in his book.  Unless he wants to confess, thumb his nose at the world, or is proud of some of the chit he has done.
