if the girl really instistid too stay and shes alreay 18 then i can imagine that a boy would leave......altough thats not what a real gentelman do.

ive never been there on that time. (but the beach is romantic, isnt it)

A real gentleman would have never left a girl alone on a beach.  Joran was so worried about going to school the next day he forgot to go.
