Is George or Cindy there at the search?  Does anyone know?

No.  I heard Mandy on Fox News and she said that TES asked the family not to help search.

I believe that is standard practice with TES. Families are not supposed to be involved in the searching.
I also thought I had heard but do not quote me on this but Cindy and George with some of their friends were going to be looking for a live Caylee today. I have no idea where I read this.

Sam

However ... Dave Holloway along with his father-in-law and Tim Miller were part of the team that which searched that Aruban landfill for the remains of his precious daughter.

Janet ~ I remember Dave working with Red, Tim, Robert Cooke and others.  so sad.

I wanted to mention that when we were searching for Rachel Cooke, Robert was out there with Tim and his team . . . . Janet (Rachel's mom) stayed at the command center (a church) and was there the entire time.  That was in January 2002.

Another busload of searchers is leaving the command center, but I don't see any monkey backpacks.

Do we have any Monkeys in Orlando that could go to a local Walmart and pick up stuff that people are wanting to buy and have delivered. Like granola bars, water, etc?  A number of people are asking on Murts site.

TIA

Today is all about our precious little Caylee, and paying it forward. I love Monkeys!!!

Murt just said the people he interviews may end up being a part of a DOCUMENTARY ... He said there is a lady there filming a documentary and wants to use him and his "interviews" with people for her documentary ....
Hmn...wonder if she is freelance or from a news service?

Renée Gielen  lol, she'd have it so screwed up no one would even know wtf it was about

I feel that TES saying that they would rather the A's not search is just Tim's way of being nice.

I think Tim is just as boggled by the A's actions as we are.  I think he does not want to be the reason for any family getting bad press...such a great man!

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) --  Divers pulled a suspicious bag from a waterway behind the Blanchard Park YMCA Family Center this morning during a massive search for Caylee Anthony.Hundreds of volunteers with Texas Equusearch completed their check-ins Saturday morning and have begun the search for Caylee Anthony.

Equusearch volunteers alerted crime scene detectives to the find, which was hauled away at around noon.

The search teams have been sent for a break away while investigators comb the scene.

Any more updates SS???

I am off for the afternoon but ... my thoughts and prayers will be with Tim Miller and all the dedicated searchers as I go about my activities.

Again ... when I consider the participation of our Monkeys in the search effort on the ground in Orlando and ... the contributions of our Monkeys this morning regarding the well being of the searchers ... I must say that I am humbled and ... proud to be a member of this site.

Mammy ~ Oh, I know what you're saying ~
Heck, I don't *trust* any of the Anthony's to search . . . . no telling what they might do!  Obviously, they were thankfully discouraged from helping search.  :::cough cough:::

Dave Holloway and Robert Cooke are a whole different story ~

Marlee if you are here can you please answer this question.

If I get special pricing on Publix party trays and platters will TES be able to serve this to the searchers?  This is for tomorrow.

Publix offers several different types of trays including sandwich, fried chicken, veggies, cheeses, meats, fruit, and pastery.

No, everything is very quiet.  The red emergency vehicle that supposedly had the bag of bones is gone.  Maybe the people in the sherrif's van were the ones who determined that they were dog bones.  A search group loaded into a bus a few minutes ago.  There are still people around the tent areas and I have seen lots of pizza boxes on the tables.  We should have told the participating monkeys to wave at Murt's cam.

It seems that Murt has a bad tire and his bloggers are trying to locate a local tire store that is still open.

Sweetwater Springs Bottled Water
 (407) 277-5331

Will deliver tomorrow morning.
$75 will get 11 cases sent
A WS poster did so already. They said they were really nice.

I am sure if they are planning a delivery already tomorrow, they would let you order a case or two and put it on your credit card.

AMAZING DEDICATION!!!

tcumom ... It was not my intention to disregard all those who unselfishly participated in searches for an 18 year old American citizen who failed to return home following a 2005  graduation trip to Aruba.

My point was that Dave Holloway ... the father of Natalee Holloway ... involved himself personally in the search of his daughter.

Something akin to the Caylee Marie case ... there was no proof that his daughter was dead ... only witness accounts and cell phone records.  However .. Dave Holloway did not undermine a search effort that focused in that direction ... he actually participated.

The Anthonys could learn a thing or two from Natalee's parents.

Gotta run.

Aruba Missing Teen
Posted: 8:38 AM Aug 1, 2005
Last Updated: 8:38 AM Aug 1, 2005
Reporter: Associated Press

A volunteer group searching for a missing Alabama teenager dug through a landfill in Aruba for a third day today (Sunday) but found no clues.

The search resumes tomorrow.

An Aruban man said he was at the landfill dropping off trash when he saw men dump and cover the body of a blonde female, two days after Natalee Holloway disappeared.

Police spokesman Edwin Comenencia said police searched the landfill after receiving the tip days after Holloway's disappearance May 30th, but found nothing.

He said the witness recently approached Holloway's family, who asked for another search.

A new rumor from Murt's bloggers....  They are reporting that searchers found a beaded rosary hanging from a tree.
