Well, we all know why Joran doesn't want to come to the United States.

Last time his greeting committee consisted of Bo Dietl!

He may have lucked out there.  Could have been somebody much more dangerous.......

like a MOM.

Remember the child molester who got shot to death in the airport?  Mom had to handle things because the court wouldn't?  

I'm not saying any mother would threaten the Sporter.  Nobody in their right mind would do that.  

But this is the South.   If you shoot them and they land outside, drag 'em in.

Up north you take out the unregistered one and put it in their hand.

I'm pretty sure Eveline Merryweather was the guy who led the protest against Beth. I remember not being sure if he was male/female until I saw a pix.

The picture Amigoe.com ran may not have been an attempt to show the organizer of the choller protest - just a random shot of the demonstration.

Turns out that that grandson and mom had a major clash with Joran some time before, because Joran accused grandson of killing Joran's dog and throwing it in Moko Dam (place where TX ES also searched), however, the mother threatened to go the cops to make a complaint against Joran,

and the Joran confessed to killing his own dog.

**** I'm not kidding. Not even a little bit. Also, the morning after NH disappeared [May 30, 2005], Joran came with a big bruise on his face and was sleeping in class and could only be woken up when he was pelted with (note?)books.

Eveline Merryweather organized the choller protest.

And the Beth protest Merryweather had the mane of white hair - right?

I think she has the days mixed up.  She is going by what someone saw on his face.  And this person is probably telling her when he came to school he had a bruise on his face.

I know that Beth & Dave are convinced that he was not in school on Monday.

Paulus doesn't seem sure, but inclined to think he was NOT.

But we have heard that story about scratches/bruises/sleep soooo many times.

I don't remember the white hair but do recall he was a scrawny, wormy looking little guy.  Old, too.

Hi Monkeys.  

This latest move by Joran is just one more thing that has reignited my blood to boiling.  This punk teenager just CAN'T let sleeping dogs lie, can he?  Just when it looks like things might be closed down and tucked away, he relaunches himself into the public arena.  Good for the case and publicity, but so far, NO ONE is taking him to task for anything.  He's saying and doing whatever...no matter how contradictory or ludicrous.  The justice system on that island is broken; I have no faith that the Dutch are doing anything except figuring out where all the paper copies are, so they can eliminate all traces (JMO).

I wonder often why I still follow this case - and I think it comes down to my belief that the current state of affairs CAN'T be the way this story ends - if there is any God in heaven.  It's just too awful to believe - not only the crime, but the cover-up - and by so many too.  How the adults face themselves each and every morning is beyond me.  Every single person involved in protecting this kid, Paulus, the Kalpoes and everyone else I hope will meet their maker and be called to account for their behavior.
