No, sorry.
I only know what the press said, about some time in October.

Do you know if they contact the Florida chapter members beforehand, or post it on their website?

They email members but we are not at liberty to divulge any information unless it is public information anyway.
Most of the members that I know keep their gear packed at all times so all we have to do is grab our food and drinks.

Now in white letters over the show it's stating that A civil authority has issued a child abduction emergency for the following counties/areas Oakland, Monroe, Macomb, Wayne, Lenawee and Washteaw at 2:31 pm on Sep 26, 2009 effective until 8:20 pm.

That's it! What the heck does this mean?? It's not an Amber Alert, there are no details about any child missing. What is a child abduction emergency and why say a civil authority???

Hey Boo, maybe it is like one of those emergency alert things they do once a month. IDK. Just guessing on that one. Strange it sounds to me like a Weather warning instead of a child abduction emergency.

My wife and I receive a good deal of Email traffic on the subject of missing children, a subject that should be the exception rather than the rule. Alas missing children seem to have become the latest ‘hot’ criminal item. One of the grumbles that Jan and I hear are that we only cover certain cases. Well, there is a good reason, we have limited resources, and there unfortunately are only 24 hours in the day!

We like to cover a story as well as we can.

Haleigh Cummings was the next missing child that Blogger News got involved in. Having invested seven months and who knows how many hours into this case, all I can say is, I am damn glad I am not related to any of the dysfunctional idiots that are family to these escapees from the movie Deliverance!

I think it would be fair to say that the combined IQ’s of the Cummings and Croslin family’s could not gain entrance to MENSA. Most of them run around with IQ’s that match their hat size!

We hope that Haleigh Cummings is still alive and well. I talk to people daily on this case. One day I will share some of the information. But not until we find Haleigh Cummings.

They made it seem like someone was out there in a dirty van with Free Candy painted on the side snatching up children!!!!
