Aruba must recognise gay marriage
13 April 2007

AMSTERDAM – The Supreme Court ruled today that a same-sex marriage conducted in the Netherlands must be recognised on Aruba. Two Dutch women who wanted to be entered as a married couple in the civil register in Aruba had brought the case to court.

The municipal official for the civil register in Aruba had refused to grant their request. The women took the case to court and won in the appeal case as well. Aruba finally appealed the case once again to the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court found that any legal instrument drawn up by a civil servant in the Netherlands, the Netherlands Antilles or Aruba is valid throughout the kingdom.

Is anyone else a little troubled about how so many of the perps down there wind up in the "security" field?

Sounds like that is just the TICKET for a life of concealed crime... get a uniform and some cameras and it's all good.

It's really comical that the DumbPig has gone into the Security business. Wasn't he by default, by his position in the ALE structure, somewhat in that business to start with --- protecting young tourist from terrorism by the Dutch boys?  Seems he failed Natalee in that effort.

INDY, read you last post on the previous page.
PVDS said that cause that  MO FO disposed of the body IMO.
AND made damn sure she would never be found  Sad
I go back and forth.. at times I wonder if PVDS isnt reallt the guitly one and JVDS isnt covering for his daddy.

I'm not sure about that specific detail either Angie.  What I am sure about is that the Kalpoes and Zit-faced Junior went out on one of their little date rape escapades and somewhere during their crime Natalee died.
Beyond that, I'm just guessing but I'd bet my pension on what I think happened that night.

I want to know why if it's such a safe island why so much security is necessary.  Wink

I had that thought earlier this afternoon.  Seems you also don't need much experience with technology or basic spelling....ticket to ride... Rolling Eyes

Like what the VCromvoirt bunch does... security guards and the like. They always are able to have access to things most people can't have. The uniform gives them a little extra cachet.

This is making me think a little bit about the significance of security guards in the case... Maybe there WERE such guards around at the events of the night, just not the 2 that were arrested. They were the patsies.

Klaas:

The other day, I heard that there was a grave site, or something that looked like a gravesite that was found by Tim and Equisearch.  They ran some tests on the site and didn't find any DNA.  Do we know what date it was that site was found?  The reason that I'm wondering is because they had specifically said that they thought that whoever had been buried there must have been placed in plastic.

Where would I find information like that?

That burial and the one that was witnessed at the landfill.  I'm just curious
if those happened before or after the search of the rocks area.

Also the break-in of the crypt.

Is there a timeline laid out somewhere?
