O/T

I don't remember this:

....A researcher from San Diego State University will be involved in the next search attempt when he helps fly a remote-control aircraft donated by the nonprofit Texas Equusearch. The autonomous aircraft has cameras and GPS and will be flown over areas between the family's home and the Mexico border. This search aircraft which was also flown over Aruba searching for missing Natalee Holloway will fly over San Diego looking for any trace of the missing McStays....

I do think that the natural reaction to having the police show up, after running the siren, etc., is to invite them in so that the neighbors don't hear/see everything.  I think it is unnatural to stand around outside.....unless of course, you have a reason not to have them in the house.

Exactly!

As a parent, I might hesitate if my child/children were sleeping in the house but I do believe I would quickly overcome that with a polite request for their consideration.  I would definately want the siren/lights business off and the people out of the street asap, of this I am sure!

Yes, that has always bothered me.  Being a lawyer, he would have understood that they couldn't search without a search warrant.  What was he so afraid of ?

One area of Gary's story seems a lil odd.

And that would be all this transporting Natalee around in the Kalpoe Honda. They cleaned the car at 3-3:30 am the night it all happened - and I know those two are brain dead, but would they chance her DNA back in the car after they cleaned it?

And now your talking after being in a swamp, and the garden / side of the house at the Sloots - it just seems odd to me.

I don't know, maybe they did. And maybe they transported her one more time and whammo - the car was confiscated before the could clean it again and that's why the FBI said they were 95% sure Natalee was dead based on the amount of blood in the car.

I have no idea ...

I still think that one neighbor saw the Slootmobile returning early am.  I also think the FBI could have seen (or luminolled) the blood very early on and then the seats were swapped. ???

What about the green pick-up truck that belonged to Andre dos Santos father and Andre drove?

Buckeye, IIRC, the FBI just observed the blood and did no forensics. They were not permitted. They looked through the windows and saw it all over apparently.

The ALE cut out the seat and headliner samples. God only knows where those ended up.

And I think you're right about the Slootmobile. I think there were probably a few cars used...

according to the idiots down there on Aruba - NO traces of Natalee in that car - so, use reverse logic, the pick-up was covered in DNA  and they sunk to to the bottom of the sea.

Perhaps Val could be interviewed for his Emerson paper.  Why did he comment about the bathtub?  Was he up at 3am, on the computer?  If not, why do the records show that?

And why did he say Joran "cut her head off above the eyebrows" as well.  Why was he never questioned?  Even our most cursory of examinations found he was up and on the computer.  What exactly did Val see and hear?  He seems like the only Sloot even close to normal.  Perhaps he could tell something of great importance.

Supposedly they questioned Val right about the time of Joran's last arrest in November, 2008.

I thinkthey should question Poppin' Fresh too.

close to be the operatives there. His lil film project slash alley way assault that brought the cops down sure wasn't using any common sense    it's a Sloot thing.

Magnolia,

Do you know what Val said then?  I don't think I have ever seen any statement.  But we don't have all of them.

I'd also like to see the missing pages from Paulus' statement that we never got as well.

Guess there are a lot of things I would like to know.

That's true, Rob.  I have conveniently forgotten he was the proud producer of his own slasher film.  Very poor choice of subject matter for someone named Sloot.  Totally creepy in fact.

If he was questioned, I'm sure he inherited his father's "memory loss".

Emerson could have a current news documentary.  More general interest than the musicians going to Aruba.

I still think Sloot gate instead of balcony.

Another thing that doesn't add up is Dompig telling Tim Miller and Dave Holloway that Natalee is in the ocean as though he knows this for a fact.  Joran gives this latest version and Dompig is all over it in agreement that it sure could have been that way and she is in the bird swamp!

These people are all totally bonkers.  They say one thing one time and another the next.

Sure, I'll make it tomorrow morning. Maps on Aruba are little difficult when using streets only - for some reason there is no zipcode feature to zero in on the exact location and I don't think I'm familiar with the Alhambra shopping center area. I know where the Alhambra casino is - but this stuff Gary is talking about sounds like it's in St. Cruz...

I lean toward the gate theory, myself.

At least Dompig isn't saying one thing to the Dutch press and something else to the US.  Oh, that's right, there's no US press there.
