Dihannah,  I've always thought it important for us not to try to guess Shango's ID - for his own safety.  I know ppl. have said he was hoaxing, but I was among the FP posters when he first showed up and have all of his posts saved in a Word doc still.  While I've never been sure, it didn't feel at the time like he was just yanking our chain.

Lifesong - that's kind of how I feel. It does seem to me that Shango knew something that it wasn't safe to say plainly, but he wanted to try to get the information out there anyway.

Kerm, we never talked about this before (meaning you and I)... but when Paulus failed his test (or we were all led to believe that is why he didn't get appointed).. do you think there is more to that than just failing? is there a chance that he was already a target and he was rejected for a judgeship based on what was going on before Natalee ever got to Aruba?

I am not Kermit but I have always felt he was refused becoming a judge because of what happened with Natalee and I'm sticking to my guns

Yes I think Shango was an insider with LE who purposely and maliciously used the riddle to confuse people. Just like some other people who where online giving out lies like candy.

So you think Shango was ALE?  Or could it just be someone with strong ties to MEP?

We know that Joran emailed Dan the night before he was detained.  I don't know if that was a hotmail account, I don't remember.  Seems to me Dan posted the email address at the time but I'm not sure.

But Paulus failed to be a judge before Natalee ever stepped foot on the island.

"I think" - this is bigger than what we realized.

Ask yourself, would the Dutch want a judge that blatantly breaks the law by taking his underage son to casinos? Are the Dutch that loose that laws do not matter? That their laws can be broken and flaunted in public?
