Dihannah,  I've always thought it important for us not to try to guess Shango's ID - for his own safety.  I know ppl. have said he was hoaxing, but I was among the FP posters when he first showed up and have all of his posts saved in a Word doc still.  While I've never been sure, it didn't feel at the time like he was just yanking our chain.

Lifesong - that's kind of how I feel. It does seem to me that Shango knew something that it wasn't safe to say plainly, but he wanted to try to get the information out there anyway.

Kerm, we never talked about this before (meaning you and I)... but when Paulus failed his test (or we were all led to believe that is why he didn't get appointed).. do you think there is more to that than just failing? is there a chance that he was already a target and he was rejected for a judgeship based on what was going on before Natalee ever got to Aruba?

I am not Kermit but I have always felt he was refused becoming a judge because of what happened with Natalee and I'm sticking to my guns  Laughing

Ok, you all are talking Shango stuff again.  I am not smart enough to put it together, it hurts my brain.  Embarassed   But has anybody ever determined who Shango was, or might be?  How they might know so much?

One more time

Maybe Kermit can answer who he thinks Shango was.  It sounds so far that Shango was on the inside insomuch that he knew what was going on and being covered up.

From what I have read,  sound like they 'knew' alot, if not everything.  I just don't understand why the riddles though. If they knew, why not go to proper authorities.  Outside of ALE, obviously...

Kermit?

Yes I think Shango was an insider with LE who purposely and maliciously used the riddle to confuse people. Just like some other people who where online giving out lies like candy.

So you think Shango was ALE?  Or could it just be someone with strong ties to MEP?

The last hope rests on the shoulders of the cowboys. Ten days, two down, eight to go.
The elder knows the passages in the palace too well. The Babylonians are afraid they might not be able to stop him.
Don’t shake the wire, ‘cause the bird will fy away.

these low life sloots must know their very words are all over a data base somewhere.

They created a hotmail account - just to email Dan.
You bet they knew how to cover-up.

any idea who created that account???.. I can't see it being Paulus, he was too nervous... Joran is too stupid.. has to be Anita .. the ring master

We know that Joran emailed Dan the night before he was detained.  I don't know if that was a hotmail account, I don't remember.  Seems to me Dan posted the email address at the time but I'm not sure.

he did have a hotmail account.

My guess is they WERE the proper authorities  Wink

I am sooo perplexed.... sounds like something straight out of movie.... doesn't make sense to me.  I guess I'm just not a consperiosy theorist.  What about Simian then?

Kermit - what do you think of the possibility that Renfro is being investigated?  Do you think there's a chance it's true?

Most likely.

Ribbit. Which means they have a keen interest in Anita.

Maybe she was pinged.

But Paulus failed to be a judge before Natalee ever stepped foot on the island.

Paulus was not hearing cases, but doing contracts.

If what you guys are saying is true...then my suspicions about Shango have been right all along...that also means that those who think they know who Shango is don't know who Shango really is. LOL

"I think" - this is bigger than what we realized.

Ask yourself, would the Dutch want a judge that blatantly breaks the law by taking his underage son to casinos? Are the Dutch that loose that laws do not matter? That their laws can be broken and flaunted in public?

So you believe they did it to throw everybody off?  Because it seems some things they wrote have been true from what others have said.  At what point did it become 'incorrect' to throw everybody off?

Lala's - you've studied Shango more than most - what are your suspicions?

I've always thought Shango had some truth in it, but I trust that Kermit knows wayyyyyyy more than I do.
