stupid mason asks the witness if he knew what flat affect mean! duh

Its a lack of emotional expressiveness, and mumbles was attempting to degrade this officer by asking him if he knew what it meant.   He's a donkey!
I believe he was also trying to insinuate that LE knows that KC has issues.  The only problem is that LE has training on this type of thing that won't match what Mumbles was hoping the docs would say.

I wonder how they manage that with their hotel rooms? Many states have outlawed smoking in hotels. I'm not sure about Florida.

Hope I did this right  here in Florida you could ask for a smoking or non smoking room.

So two LE came in and said they did not smell decomposition in the car one even said it smelled like garbage? And that is why nobody called for CSI is that correct?

The woman officer did, she said it smelt like garbage was the closest she could describe it.   Officer Fletcher said he did not, I did not hear if the last officer said either way.

10 MIN RECESS

Ty Cappy.. what I was hearing I swore he said a SPECIAL BREAK til 10 til 3.. I was think WTH?
For the smokers.

I used to be a smoker.  I never smoked indoors at all. When I would travel I would request a nonsmoking room and then smoke outside the room only.  I hate the way places that allow smoking smell, even when I was a smoker, albeit a light smoker.

Bill Shaefer just said, "Casey poo-pooed that".....it sounded so funny him saying that.   He was refering to the drowning in the pool.

For me, it is horrendous how these duffense lawyers stand there and insinuate that an officer of the court is somehow lying.  Or, that they were doing something sinister.  I know there are some bad ones out there (and I know I have an uncle who is one of the bad ones), but are they not supposed to respect the law.  They are just stating what they were told to do that evening, and they go off on tangents about other times, inuendo, and I bet if he thought the judge would allow it, he would be askign his sexual orientation, if he is a drinker/smokers, etc.

Are all trials like this?  The most innocent of witness, they go up there like the witness did something wrong.  What about their assumption of innocence, the witnesses I mean.  We are not supposed to jump the guns with guilt assumptions on their client, but they do the same dang thing and they do it to people who did nothing.
[/b]

BBM,im hoping something stupid dosent happen and someone wants to get another trial on appeal bc of of that
not sure how that works, but i think it is some kinda of grounds for another trial through appeal

Mumbles, wait to get to the mike as you've been told dozens of times already!

You failed, sit down

Again trying to paint the picture that George was calm

When I'm really really scared.............. I appear calm, particularly when everyone around me is hysterical. It's awareness that somebody may benefit from being able to think and since no one else is, I'm elected.
I'm calm in times of stress or excitement.  But once the situation calms down I fall apart.  Like you I tend to be the 'go to gal' for everyone else.  But, my time comes too.

I think we're like George. He fell apart, but not at the moment.

Yeah, I'm with you, kitty! Eventually, I become a blubbering idiot. I've earned it.

I react the same way; "after".   Maybe George was trying to hold it together because of his wife.  The interesting part I picked up on is that George did tell LE of problems with his daughter.

You know they implying that it's because he already knew she was dead

Officer Hosey said he smelt it, but it did not go further than that.  other than Jar asking him why CSI was not called.

Acevedo(sp) was the only  one that said the trunk was closed.  I wonder if that ever happened, closing the trunk.

Doesnt matter what the defense wants to put forward, she wasnt disturbed or psychotic enough to be deemed unfit to stand trial, nor did they lodge  an insanity or diminished capacity defense.   According to the law, she knows the difference from right from wrong & is fully aware of what is going on around her, period.   All this mental health goes toward possibly saving her life but that's about it.   It is my firm belief that the jury will NOT believe the sexual abuse allegations & find them to be despicable.

Does "Whomever smelt it, dealt it?" apply in this case? lol Casey did smell it first and claim it was squirrels!

What makes it even more insulting is that this officer is a Corporal ...supervises a squad of other officers....who obviously has had lots of training in evaluating people's affect for many many years.

OK...Mason is going to make me go THERE......I am going to play the RACE CARD against Mason on this highly sophisticated & intelligent officer who has impressed me (once again..except for the one that went on the Kronk call...& the bag of stuffed animals) of the caliber of Sheriff's officers, patrol officers, etc in Orlando.  Is Mason being so insulting & arrogant by asking him why he wore a suit to court & and does he know the meaning of such a common term & self explanatory as 'flat affect'??????

Is Mason the only one with a Dictionary & suits?

Before this is over I think we are going to need one of Bozo, Mumbles, Simms...and the rest of the Circus that they bring with them.  Thanks for letting me vent.
