Yes, it does but they participated as honorably.  If a juror for some reason needs to be dismissed, their importance becomes as relevant as we saw in the Scott Peterson case which had 3 jurors removed.

Yes and once they replaced those jurors they reached a verdict very quickly....

Per WFTV Live Blog, the normal work hours are 9-5 for the court house.  Is that the only time frame that the jury can deliberate OR are they allow to go until midnight if they want to?

I did ask on the live blog but go no reply back.  Thanks.
