I thought I'd let monkeys know that tomorrow I'm going to Caylee's memorial site where her remains were found. My sister and I live in PA and visiting our mother for the week in Florida.
I found a beautiful suncatcher today at the botanical gardens in Sarasota that reads
"You are my Sunshine". I will be leaving it for Caylee. I will be leaving a message for Caylee from all of us ScaredMonkeys as well.

I will take pictures and will post them next week when I get back home.

(Don't forget to check and see if you have room to take all these monkey hugs with you to leave there for our Caylee, k?)

ORLANDO -- Casey Anthony's brother, Lee, has hired attorney Thomas Luka.

Luka told News 13 that, while the State Attorney's Office has not filed any charges against his client, it could still happen.

"It's possible criminal charges could be filed if the state feels that Lee Anthony mislead law enforcement officials or tampered with evidence in any way," Luka said.
While Luka maintains Lee has fully cooperated with authorities, hiring an attorney was the right move because Lee and his parents are also considered witnesses in the case against Casey.

Luka said, so far, the state has not subpoenaed his client to testify. However, if that happens, Luka said he'll make sure Lee gets full immunity from any possible charges he might face.

I wanted to wait and post here.  I think there are 2 reasons that the A's want to cremate little Caylee.  1. So that they can save thier daughters a$$ if they would ever need more evidence later. 2.  They also are tooooooooooooo cheap to pay for a nice funeral.

I think cremation is the best avenue to take for the Anthony's at this point and I for one hope it's so.The story is huge and there are way to many sicko's that would possibly steal the remains unless she is buried in an undisclosed place which I doubt is a possibility because of the magnitude of this case.The Anthony's do not owe the public rights to Caylee's remains.Caylee is at rest so whatever they choose is fine by me..jmo

Famous People's Graves have been secured for Years - due to People stealing their headstones and or doing worse and such ... the one thing if the Ant's had a Brain they would allow a Headstone to be placed in a local cemetery with Caylee's name on it ..so People could pay their respects in her Memory. She is and has been the Child of a Million Prayers ..People will want to pay homage to her ...now and forever. Jmo  * Hugs

I don't think CA's decisions about how to inter Caylee, if at all, are about spite towards a bunch of strangers. I think more important to her would be her own feelings about Caylee. She was able to put those aside when she thought she was protecting her daughter, but now that that's all over, it's about Caylee.

And do we know for sure that they've gotten the remains back from JB? He was the one who had them, and while he has them, the Ants have no say whatsoever in the funeral arrangements.

IMO, the only person who has anything to gain from stealing Caylee's remains, is Casey. Perhaps there's some nut out there who wants to take the remains away from the family, in the thought that they simply don't deserve Caylee anywhere near them, but my guess is that's pretty much not going to happen.  John Mark Carr didn't steal Jon Benet's remains.. and that guy's a total wack job.  Celebs die all the time..  do you recall anybody stealing their remains? Maybe spending too much time at their grave site, but that's about it. 

Kurt Cobain's ashes were stolen in June. The head of Hayden the composer, the genitals of Rasputin, and various other remains of famous people have been stolen by people who believed that owning or carrying them would give them special abilities. Remains, especially skulls, are often stolen from graves for use in rituals and spells by extremely superstitious people.

And on a more realistic note, Charlie Chaplin's remains were in fact dug up and ransomed back to his family.

Now, considering that the Ants will be unemployable after all this is over, (and pretty much always lived off of Cin-Cin, who's most likely going to be getting buried herself inside a year,) it's VERY unlikely that they can afford to "secure" a public gravesite!

What if Slore used this abandoned house to turn tricks?  Even if she wasn't part of an agency, it would be as easy as advertising herself on craigslist. *gags* There are tons of escort ads there. I wonder how she knew the house would be totally safe, though? I mean, I know an abandoned house is better than out in the open, but it's also risky, because you shouldn't be there. And it doesn't look like this is an abandoned house, off in the woods that everyone's forgotten about. It's right there in a nice neighborhood next to other houses, where anyone could see her coming and going as she pleased. Is the place unlocked? Broken windows? Open doors? How did she know this house was abandoned & safe for her to be in? If I see a house that is obviously abandoned, I still wouldn't assume it would be a safe place for me to trespass, hang out, & stow a child away without getting caught. Not that I would ever do those things, but, you know what I mean, if I did I wouldn't do it in an abandoned house that everyone has access to and anyone, shady characters, or just teenage kids could wander in, find the baby & call police. What if crack heads or other people are in there? Or come in there? Just seems like she knew she would be fine at the house.

I wonder if someone gave her permission to the house? Could maybe some professional type she met while hooking have access to the house & told her that no one lived there & that it was locked up, so totally safe, but look I have a key? He could have given her a key, so they could meet there for sex. Or she could have somehow gotten a copy without his knowledge. Who knows? I'm sure many professional types buying hookers or even having a free fling are married. Possibly some official grid map used by the county?  Since the OCSO and Meter Readers both work for Orange County?  (You know, like a "MapsCo" map, with an alpha/numeric locator grid.  T-56 would be adjacent to T-55 on such a map.)  I doubt it, though.  I did try to identify what the T-56 meant, but no luck.

It could happen.  No charges have been filed against Lee at this point.  So WHY DOES HE NEED A *@^% ATTORNEY?!   You hire a defense attorney to defend you against charges that have been filed, right?  Sheesh!

And what if he knows that he actually DID do something criminal or possibly criminal?  Why not just man up, make a call to OCSO to request a meeting, and tell the WHOLE TRUTH.  Do it for Caylee.  Do it because it is the right thing to do.  Why not be accountable for your own actions and involvement, Lee?
