JSM's BEGGING FOR BAN THREAD # 6

I know that a lot of people will disagree with this because I have discussed it in real life, even one time with a judge where the Police were being sued for wrongful death when an innocent bystander was killed during a chase.  I was in a jury pool for the case and I said that I did not think police should chase cars at high speed on public roads unless they were trying to save a life.  It's too dangerous to the innocent public. In the case that's going on now, it's because the driver did not pay for gas.  The police could get the license plate number and pick him up later.  I do not think that the price of a tank of gas is worth killing anyone, including the thief, other drivers or the police.

I agree, here locally they say its up to the officer's discression to chase or not, but they r told do not persue, so they dnt. we had a kid i believe maybe a couple close together that were killed in middle of town due to high speed pursuit, have a soon to be (hopefully) brother in law who is LE and a cousin, but bro in law says they r told not too at all, unless like you said life saving, but they dnt want r crack heads to know that LE cant chase em.

Later today he will be appointed the ArchBishop of Canterberry and will be announced as the 2009 winner of the Heisman Trophy.

President Obama has been named the winner of both the American and National League Cy Young Awards for 2009, despite the fact that many said he throws like a girl and wears mom jeans when he threw out the first pitch of the 2009 Major League Baseball All-Star Game held in St. Louis

He has also been nominated and is expected to win later this year a TONY, An EMMY and an OSCAR.

President Obama has also been declared the winner of American Idol for 2009. All episodes of the show have been cancelled for this year.

Also just few months ago had a drunk driver who was haulin tooshy thru dwn town runnin red lights and one of r LE gave chase for 2 blocks then called it off so they dude would slow down or so, the guy went around a corner and hit a telephone pole split car in two landed on someones lawn and died.

That guy had been in trouble with r LE many many times, had eluded many times cuz he knows they cant give chase, and is a huge dirt bag druggy... not saying his death was condoned, was by his own actions none the less.

Baby I am with you, BUT he tried to run over a police officer that pulled him over in Van Alstyne, so he is being pursued for attempted murder of a public servant.

President Barack Obama woke up with a pleasant surprise -- the news that he'd won the Nobel Peace Prize. Even those who want him to succeed in implementing his progressive policies and have complained he hasn't done any of them ( like SNL) should be perplexed by this award. I know that a lot of people will disagree with this because I have discussed it in real life, even one time with a judge where the Police were being sued for wrongful death when an innocent bystander was killed during a chase.  I was in a jury pool for the case and I said that I did not think police should chase cars at high speed on public roads unless they were trying to save a life.  It's too dangerous to the innocent public. In the case that's going on now, it's because the driver did not pay for gas.  The police could get the license plate number and pick him up later.  I do not think that the price of a tank of gas is worth killing anyone, including the thief, other drivers or the police.

Baby I am with you, BUT he tried to run over a police officer that pulled him over in Van Alstyne, so he is being pursued for attempted murder of a public servant. 

It mostly looked like a "low speed" chase to me. 

Much of it was low speed, with six Black and Whites trailing him, but it was also 80+ at times according to FOX.  I admit I didn't see the whole thing.  I didn't see the incident where he attempted to hit a police officer, but FOX said the officer was putting down those spike strip things, so it happenned after the chase started.  It's just a thought and like all opinions, there are many.

Thanks, I'm doing just fine! I just spent about 15 minutes looking at hat patterns to knit....I think I'd better finish the scarf I started last winter first, then start working on things to keep my gourd warm. Stupid cancer couldn't even pay attention to the seasons...chemo would have been so much "warmer" during the summer. But NOOOoooooooo...now I'll be freezing my gourd off!!!

Hubby's daughter called trying to invoke the guilt trip about her brother being in trouble.I said "Oh He!! No!" with my best finger pointing and head shaking. 
I told hubby I had nightmares most of the night about when I was at my son's funeral.I told him that last kiss and rub on his noggin did not bring him back and this chit stops today.
Anyone who wants to continue with this stupidity of destroying themselves with drugs and don't give a chit attitude can't forget my name.I am done.

I told hubby I had nightmares most of the night about when I was at my son's funeral.I told him that last kiss and rub on his noggin did not bring him back and this chit stops today.

I feel better now,I think.I can't quit crying though.

Some times it is good to get things off your chest! Atleast he took it well....  I told my step sister to pull her head out of her a$$ and get over herself and raise her kid, and that we never see or hear from her unless its poor me or i need something.... i felt better... she still wont talk to me, and pulled my poor 6yr old nephew into it and told him he's not allowed to be around me, the when he tells us that she yells and grounds him for "lying" yea, well thats just one incident, she is a piece of work! My mom, munkey munk, also told her something similar few months later, he's not supposed to be around her either, sad. 

Sounds like quite the meal! I was gonna make bbq beans, back strap and jalapeno poppers for the in laws but now we dnt know if they will stay with us or my bf's sisters, seein as they have the only baby so far.....
