Trimm...I am having 2 grand daughters over night tonight and I had the oldest one over night last night so we are both going to be grand parenting tonight lol!

I had put some chili in the crock pot this morning so me and hubs are gonna eat that tonight before they come over...I am gonna make a chili dog for me! sounds good...

hope all is going well for everyone...read through the posts...Mission is going camping I think I read right?
Rosie, I think that the birds come "home" to you to say their final goodbye before they pass...

it was pouring here a few minutes ago! could hardly see to drive...

Ronald Cumming pled guilty this morning ......big happy smiling face at his court appearance.

Did he get a deal because he will testify against other drug dealer or suppliers  NO

He got it because if anyone is charged in HaLeighs case he will testify.  He used his dead child to reduce his sentence.

As you know I love to feed the birds and Buddy. One of my favorite birds named Scrappy, because he never seemed to be quite right for some reason, and he always looked ruffled and not like the other sparrows. Well anyway I use to love to watch him feed and he was tame. This morning he was not acting right like something was caught in his throat, so I gave him water with a dropper and rubbed his throat. For awhile he seemed better, then I went in and came out five minutes later and he died, so I buried him.  I swear that I feel like the Grim Reaper  so many birds come here sick and die.

No Rose, I'm sorry to hear about Scrappy. I am glad he got a proper burial and hope Buddy is doing well. 

The birds and Buddy are all eating well    The heat doesn't stop them from chowing away.

The doctor was busy. So many kids and parents. Got my meds refilled for a year. She wants me to go get blood work. So I guess sometime today I will go get that done. Maybe 

That's great refills for a year. I say since you have a years worth of refills, do the blood work next year. 

I was thinking the same thing.  I sometimes think they are looking for something wrong. Just so they can do other tests and give more drugs.

Exactly Greeneyes!! My doctor refills my xanax 3 months at a time, then they have to call and get another refill. (even though I hoard 1/2 month supply because I don't take them all) I still call when the date is up. She won't refill them though until I get a mammogram.  Never makes me get bloodwork though

I know that is what they do    My husband he brings up every little issue, me I only give the bare minimum  why should I start digging around for things. I had that happen once, and it was awful, and the tests were awful too.  I am barely hanging on from Kyron's thread today, one thing I did find out, guess my husband and I weren't the best parents. Geez, I'm sure glad nobody has dissected everything I did. We did our best, and everyone has different ways of dealing with issues. I think that cleaning something is in order 

No Rose, you and your husband are great parents with two lovely girls. Be proud of that, I would be proud to have you as my own mother. 

That being said, I wouldn't want anyone dissecting my past on the internet either.

NRCG  I am the same way. My doctor in Calif. would get upset when he would tell me it's time for this test or that test. And I'd tell him no. 

If someone looked at my parenting skills I would be right there with you. Or in trouble because I spanked my kids. Sent them to bed without dinner a time or 2

Since I have to fast for the blood work I'll get it done sometime. 

Greeneyes, my parents didn't beat us, but we did get whoopings and I think that made better because we knew we did wrong. Especially coming outta church. If we got the eye from my Dad, first thing out of our mouth would be "are we getting the belt".  Now the little ones at Mass sit there and eat Cheerios, talk, run around and parents do nothing about it.

4 Donks What a A hole.  I don't see them doing any thing to any one.  They have all the dips in jail and they still can't find sweet Haleigh.

One charge has a mandatory 3 ys and 2 mandatory 10 yrs. He's the only one that once again comes out smelling like a rose

Hubby just hollered from under the house and said one of the duct work vents looked like it had been accidently closed near the kitchen....I told him to hurry and crawl out,because the Nanny must be under there.   
(I think I did it when I was pulling antenna cable.)

Heavens to mergatroid,I just found out 3 of the 4 grandkids are coming for the weekend!
Color me crazy!    I am trying to run around and fix snacks and praying the A/C does not konk out again before the first of the week,when a service guy can check it out.

I got married in Fl and I remember them asking our birthdates and me trying to count backwards to figure out how old Paul was and could see him doing the same with me LOL Next they asked each of us if we had been married before..once again I was avidly interested in the answer LOL Next the lady looked at us and said and you two are marrying each other. These things had never come up between us, I assumed if there was something in his past he'd have mentioned it and ages didn't mean that much to me. We were married 34 yrs when he died.
