Older Woman: Is there a problem, Officer?

Officer: Ma'am, you were speeding.

Older Woman: Oh, I see.

Officer: Can I see your license please?

Older Woman: I'd give it to you but I don't have one.

Officer: Don't have one?

Older Woman: Lost it, four years ago for drunk driving.

Officer: I see. Can I see your vehicle registration papers please.

Older Woman: I can't do that.

Officer: Why not?

Older Woman: I stole this car.

Officer: Stole it?

Older Woman: Yes, and I killed and hacked up the owner.

Officer: You what?

Older Woman: His body parts are in plastic bags in the trunk if you want to see.

The officer looks at the woman and slowly backs away to his car and calls for back up. Within minutes five police cars circle the car. A senior officer slowly approaches the car, clasping his half drawn gun.

Officer 2: Ma'am, could you step out of your vehicle please! The woman steps out of her vehicle.

Older woman: Is there a problem sir?

Officer 2: One of my officers told me that you have stolen this car and murdered the owner.

Older Woman: Murdered the owner?

Officer 2: Yes, could you please open the trunk of your car, please.

The woman opens the trunk, revealing nothing but an empty trunk.

Officer 2: Is this your car, ma'am?

Older Woman: Yes, here are the registration papers.
The officer is quite stunned.

Officer 2: One of my officers claims that you do not have a driving license.

The woman digs into her handbag and pulls out a clutch purse and hands it to the officer.

The officer examines the license. He looks quite puzzled.

Officer 2: Thank you ma'am, one of my officers told me you didn't have a license, that you stole this car, and that you murdered and hacked up the owner.

Older Woman: I bet the liar told you I was speeding, too.

Missouri Girl, 9, Vanishes After Leaving Friend's House

Print ShareThisST. MARTINS, Mo. —  Missouri authorities are looking for a 9-year-old girl who did not return home after visiting a friend.

Cole County Sheriff Greg White says Elizabeth Olten did not arrive home Wednesday evening after leaving a friend's home about 6:15 p.m.

She was supposed to walk a quarter mile to her home on Route D near St. Martins, just west of Jefferson City.

Her family called police when she had not arrived by 7 p.m.

A Cole County sheriff's deputy says the search was scheduled to resume early Thursday.

The Jefferson City News-Tribune reports that the girl's family members said she is afraid of the woods and the dark, so she wouldn't be out at night.

Elizabeth Olten has long brown hair and was last seen wearing a pink sweater, T-shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.

The Federal Communications Commission voted Thursday to approve proposed new rules aimed at blocking Internet service providers, like Comcast, and wireless phone companies such as Verizon and AT&T, from intentionally halting or slowing Web traffic.

The proposal, or so-called net neutrality regulations, will set off a series of regulatory procedures and a final rule is expected to be introduced early next year.

Supporters say the regulations prevents any company from steering viewers to its own outlets and manipulating choice by consumers to watch or read what they choose.

But critics charge that the plan is another power grab by the government.

"These new rules should rightly be viewed by consumers suspiciously as another government power grab over a private service provided by private companies in a competitive marketplace," Sen. John McCain wrote in an opinion article published by The Washington Times.

"Does this sound familiar? It should," McCain said, comparing the proposal to the federal bailout of Wall Street and the auto industry.

McCain argued that a government takeover of the Internet will "stifle innovation" and "hinder job creation," noting that the technology industry is the fastest-growing job market behind health care.

"Regulation kills innovation," he said. "Let's not kill the Internet. An open and unfettered Internet may be the real stimulus during these difficult economic times, and it comes without a $787 billion price tag that is passed along to taxpayers at a significant cost for future generations."
The proposal contains six principles, including four existing guidelines adopted in 2005 on Internet network operations. The additional rules are designed to prevent Internet traffic discrimination and increase transparency on how carriers manage their networks to ensure that they aren't targeting technologies that may compete with their own services.

Verizon and Google have endorsed the plan, saying they need open access to all Internet users, while AT&T has opposed it, saying the status quo should be maintained.

The FCC will take comments on how to apply the rules until Jan. 14 with replies due March 5, an FCC spokesman told Foxnews.com.

Once they showed one kid he was about a year and a half old, he polished off more food then most adults could. I would have vomited from all that food the kid was shoving into his mouth.

I'm sorry to hear that Monkey Munk - the churches are very good about hiding that important information.  I could tell you a long story but to make it short I lost a best friend - murdered by a priest because he found him out as a molestor and was going to the church and the authorities with it.  They have covered this stuff up for years.  I am glad he is your ex and hope he didn't wreak to much damage to your kids.  ::MonkeyAngel::

Sad story Fanny - he was murdered in the family owned and operated business, a funeral home of all places.  The parents and family are pillars in the community and spent I'm sure thousands and thousands of dollars supporting the church......they are good people.  Interesting read when you have a moment. This happened in the town I was born and raised in in Wisconsin.

When my mom was a child at Catholic school a child died at the hands of a nun, and it must have been taken care of with the family somehow because charges were never filed. Some of those nuns when I was a kid, could be awfully mean, I was thrown against a blackboard in 7th grade, something I will never forget  ::MonkeyNoNo::

Wow Mission That is so sad. We had a pervy priest here that the bishop knew was molesting kids, so he sent him from my old parish to the parish where my Dad lived at the time. The boys families in both parishes sued the Diocese and got gazzillions. I hope your friend's  family got something for the loss of their loved ones.  ::MonkeyAngel::

OMG!!! I have heard a lot of the stories, but I have never heard this one. It is the worst. When this all started coming out, my son's were both grown. I was on the road by this time, and away from them quite a bit. I made it a point to go home and find them both, separately and sat them down alone. I asked them to be honest with me. We lived right next door to the church and it was the center of our existence when my kids were growing up.

There were so many priests that were friends with us, and one in particular that we all loved took them to the movies and to swim and I was having horrible thoughts. Many times I would wake up, and he would be swinging in our swing we had in our back yard with our cat in his lap petting her. I suddenly had doubts. Serious doubts. Both of my sons swore to me looking into my eyes that no Priest, not our favorite one, no priest had ever done anything to either of them. I know by this time they would have told me the truth. We have had "the talk" several times since, so I am convinced. I am ashamed of the thoughts that I had, because the priests I am talking about were really wonderful, caring people, and we loved them.

I have to say that this whole thing has shaken my faith, and I have struggled with it many years. I even quit going to church for quite some time, until my hubby wanted to go to confession after many years, and so we went to our local parish, and we attend mass again. We met the local priests, but there is still a holding back which I am trying to overcome.

Like I said, everyone has a story, and that is just one of mine.  ::MonkeyAngel::

I will say only this, I was raised a Catholic, I stopped going to church as a junior in high school and have only been back to the church for funerals, I can no longer consider myself a Catholic, had way to many bad experiences with going to Catholic grade school and two years of high school. My mom and grandparents were strict Catholics, but I had to do what was right for me.  I'm sorry about that Fanny  ::MonkeyAngel::  I also have a story about a molesting priest, but it is nothing that people have not already heard before. I have known some very nice priests, and I will continue to believe that they didn't do something like that to anyone, it is just better for me to think that way, because I would be physically ill if I found out differently.

These past few have been horrible Trimm. I am heating up the oven to cook a pizza and will go to bed in a bit.

My "stalker" asked if he could run Josef, I said sure go ahead, Josef took off, and they ran about 20 yards, then Josef dead stopped. I am glad he didn't cut in front of the guy, because he would have tripped over Josef. The guy started laughing and said we know who this dog belongs too. Just thought you might like to have a laugh, I know we all need one. Sleep well.

Fanny, No Rose and Mission, it is horrible what happens/happened with priests before all this mess came out. I can't imagine what is was like for my friend's brother that it happened to.  ::MonkeyWaa::

I know at the seminary here, now the guys go through a complete background check, mental health checks and most of the guys don't make it through the first four years. It isn't because they are perves but more because they aren't cut out to be a priest.  ::MonkeyAngel::

And logically many, many more good priests than bad, and it makes me upset when many people lump the bad with the good.

And that is exactly what they would do - move the molesters from one parish to another.  Unfortunately Danny's family never sued for money - they wanted no money they wanted the Diocese to fully disclose the names of those who abused and to stop the cover up - they lost in court but they continue to fight, they fight to hold them accountable - they have even gone to Washington, met with the Diocese, and many other things in their quest to stop the abuse and the cover ups.  They do this with their own money and time - they are an incredible family who want to put an end to this abuse against children.  They are very near and dear to my heart.  ::MonkeyAngel::

Never be ashamed of your thoughts - you are a good parent for what you did - refusing to turn a blind eye.  Thank you for sharing that story with me Fanny - to many parents think that because it is a priest there is no need to worry - quite the opposite. oh & can I give a shout out to  NRCG   .... have you ever had your thyroid checked? on your posts I read where you're feeling bad, IBS, reactions to meds, etc ....  low thyroid symptoms jumped out at me coz I've had a huge throwdown with it for a number of yrs.  It doesn't always shows up on the standard thyroid test.  Because of that, some drs will give med for it based on symptoms, but most won't.   I guess that's a personal question & really not trying to get in your business to answer it on the board, so feel free to ignore or email me about it.

Former Jail Sergeant Charged With Inmate Sex

Orlando, Fla. -- A former sergeant with the Orlando County Sheriff's Office has been charged with enticing a female inmate to have sex with him.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement reports that 51-year-old Tommie Joe Breckenridge was charged Tuesday with felony sexual battery by a law enforcement officer and felony sexual misconduct between a detention facility employee and an inmate.

OCSO began investigating in July after Sheriff Paul June fired Breckenridge and reported that the 23-year veteran was having a sexual relationship with a very willing 23-year old female inmate who is in lockup on charges she mudered her daughter.  The inmates name was not released due to pending sales of photos by her attorney.

Court records show that Brock's DNA was found on the woman's clothing and her many commissary snacks.

Brock was released from jail on $100,000 bail.

Boy was I wrong! My stupid work computer has some viruses, my background was gone and some program I never even heard of is runnin scans sayin some weird name thing is trying to steal my credit card info!!

One of the guys calls and needs a purchase order number and my computer is like screw u I'm doin whatever I want...

So I had to get on munkey munks puter and take care of that.

So I call r comp guy and say uhhhh somethings goin down and I don't think its good, he "oh carp" 's me and says quick shut it down!!!

But I'm busy ( pretty sure he is tryin to get his kids to school) so ill call ya back later...

Yep, yesterday wasn't a good day. couldn't sleep cos everyone was calling to see how I am. Had to take a shower and made myself look. That was semi-devastating, until I reminded myself there was a very good reason to be missing part of my body. Oh, and then DH told me he'd still be coppping a feel whenever he could, so that made me feel better. I guess I had to cry, so I did and that's done. Whew!! Now it's onward and upward....but today they take out the drain, and I know that's gonna hurt, but it will be worth it to have the darn thing gone.

I am dressed, hair done, teeth brushed, and not sitting in my bed, so it's a good, rainy Friday!!!

Today is my dad's birthday, I gave him a huge cupcake and card for breakfast, a mini cake.  Tonight the four of us are eating out, and then Sunday my other daughter and her husband, and dad, husband and I are eating out for his birthday. That's because my younger daughter won't speak to her sister and her husband, so for all of you that have a big, nice family that get along and you enjoy things together, you are all very lucky.  ::MonkeyAngel::

Haha, sounds almost like my family, we have a psychotic cousin (he's like 19) he has done some crazy chit in his days so no one like him, and for good reasons, so its always interesting when he comes around...we do mean things to him.

And then there is my step sister, haha she wont talk to me because i told her to pull her head outta her a$$ and raise her kid properly, yea that usually makes for great times too!

Haha candy corn cracks me up! i hate it, it is discusting, but i bought some for my bf last yr and he didnt eat it all so i put it in a lil black pot looking thing, such a cute little decoration...well he didnt know it was for looks (guys dont get that kinda thing, esp towels that are just to look pretty in the bathroom) anyways he about broke his tooth i almost died laughing...

My bf BIL was injured when a guy elluded him and he gave chase on foot then jumped over a bush, haha i can just picture him trying o be all crazy jumpin over a bush and stuff, at least he shot the guy with his taser and got him! haha, then his brother who is a detective and another detective we know had to chase a dude who robbed a bank in idaho and fled to r town... so many elludes in one week!!

It sucks, but what can yado, she wont listen, my mom and step dad just have him over nd take him to do things, so we go over there and see him and play and take peanut for him to play with.

Her bf is not a big help either, he has been to jail atleast twice this past yr, and he tried to fight me one night at my moms, haha what a dork, he got in my face callin me names and tryng to fight me cuz we were playing with all the kids  and i got in trouble for pushing him in the little pond like i did everyone else cuz he had pajamas on (it was dark all i saw were shorts and shirt like other kids) ya sooo instead of like drying him off they freaked screamed and yelled he cried they tried to fight me it was great.... needless to say they dont come around much and they dont talk to me or bf or lil sister either
