Hi Sunny.  You know, the only picture I can recall of J.P. Chatt and Caylee together is the one with her in the striped shirt, and him in the background sitting on the sofa at his condo.  (Can't remember if he was in any of the Oviedo barbecue pics...)

Could you possibly be thinking of Ryan Paisley, or is there really a picture of Caylee and J.P. at the Anthony home?  (Pictures attached, viewable by signed-in Monkeys.)

You may not have after all -- I just wasn't aware of a picture of JP with Caylee at the A's home.  There very well may be such a picture, though.  And I had to chuckle when I posted those two pics and realized that Caylee is wearing the same shirt in both!

CASEY'S FRIENDS CASHED IN ON CAYLEE

Casey Anthony's friends made money off little Caylee's murder. It came out in documents released in the case Tuesday.

Two of Casey's friends, at least one of them an ex-boyfriend, negotiated with the tabloid The Globe, trying to make hundreds of dollars by selling their photos of Casey and Caylee and make extra for quotes.

JP Chatt and Casey's former boyfriend, Ricardo Morales, negotiated with The Globe by email less than a month after it was learned that Caylee was missing.

The new records show, in August 2008, Chatt and Morales were offering to sell their photos and their stories. Chatt, who was at Caylee's second birthday party at her house, was offered $1,000 for his photos.

Morales, Casey's ex-boyfriend, was driving a hard bargain, making sure he didn't lose out on the $1,500 for his, plus $50 extra for quotes and 50-percent of the profits from the world rights to the photos.

Yes, Ricardo was J.P.'s roommate.  They lived together at J.P.'s condo, then Amy moved in temporarily with "the boys" when Casey's lies and stalling and games left her "homeless."

Author Ann Rule mentions Casey Anthony in new book

Yesterday, I walked down to my local bookstore, and bought true-crime writer Ann Rule's book, "But I Trusted You", (from her 'Crime Files' series, Volume 14- copyright 2009, Simon & Schuster).

I was just reading along, when suddenly, on page 79 (of the paperback edition), I read,

"Infamous female criminals like Susan Smith, Casey Anthony, and Dianne Downs have devised similar schemes, building castles in the sky out of diaphanous threads hooked to weak foundations. They all murdered their own children, sacrificing them to get what they wanted, to find perfect love. And there have been scores more women without conscience who have killed people who trusted them to achieve what they think will make them happy".

It caught me by surprise to stumble across Casey's name like that, I guess because Casey has yet to even go to trial- and here it is stated as fact that Casey murdered her own child, and "sacrificed her" to get what she wanted. (Although I agree completely with Ms. Rule's assessment).

I guess the way Casey would see it, is if Ann Rule is mentioning her in books, even referring to her as 'infamous', Casey has truly 'arrived'.

Yep, that's where I saw that. I believe both judges have brought up using Skype for these out of state depos. Now LKB makes herself look cost conscious. LOL  More like being forced into it by JAC. But she had to do these depos, it's the defenses only shot at something being done correctly, IMO.

I like how Kathi B. chooses to report from the tragic spot where Caylee was dumped by her killer mother.

That correlates with exactly what we heard months ago when JJ was first brought into this by the Laura woman. That explains WHY she lawyered up and why the prosecution has had such a hard time getting her to depositions. She tried to get JJ to say he searched with her and had a paper that had their name listed on it together which he said was totally bogus and that most likely is the one he says in this video that was "made up evidence"

Interesting - Laura Buchanan CLAIMED in her statement she searched Suburban Rd on the 3rd, but the documents show they were at Blanchard Park 8:00 - 4"30 and her team leader was a Patrica Quiggle, not JJ. They also do not show JJ on her team at all as she claimed in another statement. I am betting the "fake documents" which BOZO had and TES didn't were ones which had her with JJ. What you want to bet?

Maybe someone can do a reality show about the sequestered jurors. Like Big Brother. No contact with the outside and they go stir crazy.

I was on a sequestered jury once and it was not that bad. The court officers took us everywhere and we went in a van together, but we ate at very nice restaurants, saw good movies and swam in the hotel pool a lot. You could go to the workout room. We were not allowed computers, and our phone calls were recorded. (I assume they reviewed them) It seemed to get on a lot of the juror's nerves, but it really did not bother me that much. I guess having traveled all my life in my career and living out of hotel rooms made it easier for me. It was not as long as this one will be, but after about 2 weeks some of the jurors started asking to be excused. I don't remember if we had a cell phone rule, because this was in the 80s and most of the cell phones were not that portable at that time.

Yes, quite a few actually. We had a panel of 36 jurors which started the trial and we still had 14 when it finished. The alternate jurors have to also be in the complete trial because if someone has to leave and they are selected they have to be up to speed on all that has happened.
